I've never heard of the sexagesimal system before.some very clever people then them babylonians. Just think when they are looking at the stars on a clear night.what are they actually working out the movement surely.but how can they work time out by watching that.surely there must of been weeks when the cloud stopped them observing the stars.. It's a right mind bender really..

I often think who actually worked all the times out.seconds.minutes.hrs.days.and 365 1/4 days a year.and 4 season's. And how did they work it all out.was it a matter of a few people basically sitting down for years on end and watching how much daylight and darkness for every day. And to think who ever worked it out got it spot on.

My wife couldn't cope with our 2 autistic sons and had a mental breakdown 6 nearly 7 yrs ago so I had to give up work to be at home. I've said this on here before but lads like ginger beared and dogdox take the piss. That's the way them pair work mate.. I would love to get back in a dozer or digger bit can't at this moment in time.. And that's my situation right there..

Go back and read what I typed out. To be good at something you have to have a genuine interest in that thing. If you haven't got a real interest in something you won't be 1 of the best at that given job. Showing keen and having a genuine interest are 2 different things..

That's excately it.not interested.maybe in the future they will look back with regret. I was on the yts at 15 or 16 I think it was the foreman "don" told me on a Thursday morning there's a test exam type thing in swansea tonight for brick laying or plastering get down there he said. So I managed to get a lift down about 18 miles and got dropped off.done the test and walked about 11 miles home before I had a lift.
