Mate people would work for 39hrs a week for a take home pay of £217 a week. The line would rarely stop running so they worked hard for that money. So folk earning that kind of money would struggle to pay for 1lb of cooked aberdeen angus chunks of beef.you would need a 2lb fresh lump to get 1lb of cooked meat. Folk having that twice maybe 3 times a week isn't a bad thing in my book. No wonder people wanted to work on my line ?

See there is the real you. Threatening to sack people.and I don't even work for you ? What would I do.i used to encourage the line staff to eat as much cooked aberdeen angus beef chunks as they could from the 250kg drum.top quality meat that was used in M&S gastro pub pies.and the staff weren't earning very good money.i treated all 7 people on my line with respect..if we worked that line from 2pm till 10pm.i would encourage them to take a lb of it home for there dinner and to feed there wife's and kid's..

Any lad who had teenage friends and frequented the pub would of had such experience.its called life..
