Hi the kits are 8 1/2 weeks old now, mum lost a lot of weight and cond early on after birth, but is a lot heavier and in better cond now, id say almost back to normal, shes certainly shows no sign of having given birth when she is out of the hutch and running around.

Can a ferret be worked after weaning kits? my kits have all gone to there new homes bar the jill i kept back, but when is a good time to get mum back out for a bit of easy work? how long should i wait?

its not very poewerfull,i thought 12 ftlbs was about 755 fps second its only showing ariound 550? -
ok BOB , let's get something straight from the off , i own 1 hancocks lurcher , and 3 bull x's ..........1 bull x is working and has been since he was 6 months old , his daughter is 11 months old and has started on rabbit's the third bull x is a son from the first bull x mentioned above he is only a few weeks old and is a half brother to the 11 month old mentioned above i have used the same stud dog on 2 different bitches .....if you have followed up to now you will understand a pattern for a line breeding to take place in the future which will be half brother to half sister ....... this i wou

We had a night of rain and wind here lastnight and i was running low on meat for the ferret kits (there eating me out of house and home) so i took fiac out for a spin on some permission, and to be honest i was desparate to get out again also. For only being 11 months old, i couldnt be happier with how she is doing, her strikes really good and she gets down on the bunnys well for being a big dog, she retreived all the rabbits live back to hand, some quiker than others but geting there, id like to say how well i have trained her but i think its just good breeding showing through . We w

Here you go, mine is a flolding one so you can put it in your bag ive only used it a few times but when you hit the trout its like your throwing pellets in the water fish hitting all over the place, im talking wild brownies here not rainbows.
