i would say that there is a diffrence in that most generation firstx breed dogs are more racey built then genuane firstx. but i wouldnt say any x is beter than another it is just prefrance on the ground & game you hunt. but that is just my apinion & everyone has one more times than not there diffrent but that dosnt mean ethere is rong. ps my bitch is genuane first generation i have pics of my old firstx but dont think he was first genaration so didnt put it up but there is one of him in my aviator of him.

well if the farmer can sit & whatch for 2 hours & then shoot 4 dogs when his mates come that makes it right. i dont think so that makes him a f**king n*B head in my eyes he had 2 hours that he could of give the lad a worning to control his dog or pay the price. no he watched 4 dog atack his sheep for 2 hours & done nowt untill he got back up of his mates with god knows how meany guns. if the farmer give a worning first i wouldnt be botherd & sead he done right to shoot the dogs even if they were mine. but to just sat & watched 4 dog attack his sheep for 2 hours & do now

That seems to be a sensible and measured post to me your right there i would agree totaly with this post. i think that if its a man with a dog & you confront him you should make him pay any lose that has to come from your pocket. but i dont think the farmer that shoot this lads dog deserves a penny the lad deseved a warning first aspeshly if the farmer just watched it go for the sheep for an hour & done nothing to stop it. he is a coward & should not have a gun. a coward with a gun is a danger to anyone that gose near him how can he have confedence around people with a gu

You are jumping to all sorts of conclusions for no apparent reason....I have NEVER said I am "right", or anybody else is wrong, these results make no sense, and until I see some evidence I am not convinced...that seems to cause you some sort of a problem.... If you care to look back I have not said anyone is liar, just that I am not convinved, and I fail to see what this has got to do with being a good shot..I have also made it very clear that you believe what you like, your chrono may well be spot on but if the pellets don't fit the barrel equally the results are meaningless...seems you are

i only go to show these day if i whant to buy a new coller or something for the dogs. becouse my own dogs dont do much work these day but still see a bit. 8 out of 10 you see at the show only have perfect feet & good coats becouse they have never been of a lead or ran on a field full of sh*t. they pay for there dog food with good looks & breeding hansome pups there just as bad as the kennel club pupy breeder in my eyes. to call them working dog shows is a joke if you take a good working dog with a few marks to them half the people there look at you as if they were the rspca & you w

i thought it was bull but a lad i new once got a deerhoud gryhound pup & the parent where both 28 tts & i seen them. he worked it from a pup & it only made 21tts it still cought the od rabbit but turned into a dwarf. i have seen biger wippetxs & own a pure wippet that stands 22tts so i wouldnt risk it dont know about walking it to much but i wouldnt work a dog untill it was a desent age.

silly cows not the word for it she made us tack the nets of the set & get the ferret when it came from the set even though she seen us bolt rabbits. sit next to the police car for half a hour becouse the farmer didnt answer his phone straitaway. giving us a lecture about bager diging as if she was the leading expert in the country. but the farmer put her right in her place becouse at the other side of his farm there was loads of bager sets. the field where they where was destroyed holes every where & the field was riped to bits where they used it for a shiter lol. so he wasnt a big fan -

i have poached still poach & allways will. i have been pulled by the police & farmer & gamekeepers . have never been locked up giving a beating or had a dog shoot yet for poaching. just tell them that your walking your dog & thought you had every right to roam the right to roam is more complacated then the hunting act the police dont even useualy know if you do or dont have any right & just useualy say right roam in the direction of home & send you across someother farmers field to poach. but it dosent work if you have a gun or a big bag of game. but some police dont mi -

i use to run a bedie wippet x ess put back to a wippet only uesed him on the lamp but he was a good little lamp dog hartlepool hunter had his sister. but i have never seen a first x ess wippet but as you have sead your ess can be used for ferreting so the bit of speed from the wippet should only improve on what you have.

i cant get my head around this one becouse every dog i have had regardless of % has been diffrent even if the % has been the same how come there is not a no prefferance on there ? becouse some breeds preduce diffrent types even if the % is the same. for ect you can get a stocky 3/8 or light 3/8 why make a poll with out a answer or is it just me? :wacko:

Bit extreme...Why not castrate and re-home to a non working home????? How many times has it been out and how many rabbits has it run without picking them up how many times has it been out ferreting and seen ferrets hitting the nets ?????????? would have to know the answer to all these questions before cutting it nuts off or rehoming it. spoke to the lad this morning the dogs run about 50 - 70 rabbits and not picked up its not been out with ferrets or other dogs he got it at 9 mths old from working stuff . hes had it out with his terriers ratting and its killed rats .. the guy whr

well that is how most seem to put it but a rabbit dog is a rabbit dog & i cant see why a dog that can kill rabbits should be pts when most of the time someone will give them a good home. but they shoudnt be breed of & sold as good allrounder witch sometimes happens. but some dogs just dont work to any kind of standard on any think & thses dogs i will have pts becouse people have a habbit of breeding dogs just for looks & if looks could kill then this wouldnt be a problem but they dont. a lurcher isnt a pet in my eyes & when people start breeding working dogs just for pets y
