    Perfume

Coco Mademioselle, Chanel No 5 & Prada are my faves, but perfume is a very personal thing..thats why there are so many to chose from
  2. I also use Dreamweaver Ditchy, its very good.
  3. Some days they won't bolt, no matter what. Looks cold woodga - bet it was hard digging that ground too
  4. I have one like that also, that always just happens to be in the right place at the right time a few more
  5. Both Sony, a son of Cerby and Rosie (Suzi) a grandaughter, have excellent noses.
  6. Great fun a bit of ratting isnt it Nightvision - looks like a morning well spent
  7. Practice Ianrob, Im out and about ferreting with them just about every weekend
  8. Theres a mixture of different lines in the plummers pictured, one is an outcross the other two are "pures" if you can call any plummer that. The plummers in the photos are Legion Fleur de lys (NPG Alpha [sonatal Todd x Raggengill Lucy] x Legion Mask [Raggengill Nine x Legion Red]), Wyremead Suzi (Stonyford Dumbo [Wyremead Cerberus x Remlap Sally] x Wyremead Shoda (Lacey Ern x Wyremead Harlow) and deepdigs dog, Coalville Sony (Wyremead Cerberus [stanhill Billy x Wyremead Sariel] x Matadan Pip [inglebrae Tyson x Lynley Megan]) so a whole hotchpotch of lines there, but some interesting ones
  9. Godwilling deepdig, they should be strong little buggers
  10. Well thats a new one on me I was born and brought up with terriers, and in all those years I have never ever known one come to any harm by it
  11. get shut of that posh motor and buy a shed like mine then you would beable to put juice in it
  12. I was speaking from a personal point of view Phil, half n half asked if I did much ratting, and my answer was and is that generally I dont, apart from the odd rat here and there which is hardly worth mentioning but yes the dogs do enjoy it, especially hunting them out but I dont consider that the same as a full day on the shoot.
  13. Theres always the odd rogue thats bad tempered with other dogs but generally they mix and pack quite well, as you might see from the pics fireman has pointed you to. It goes for all types of terriers, theres a few that arent very sociable but I would say they are the exception to the rule, and if theres work to do you will find the dogs more interested in the work than a fight. Theres a coalville dog amongst them in the top few pics
  14. As often as I can half n half, but not always with the big numbers that are at the end of the shooting season I love ratting, would go out every day if I could but work sometimes gets in the way. Theres a pond round our way where we get a few, and we have permission on a livery nearby but theres just one or two at a time, piddly little numbers there, hardly worth bothering with really Do you do much yourself?
  15. We were lucky to get invited down to a couple of keepered places for a spot of ratting on the gamecrops last season. I thought I'd put up a few of the pics that I took when we were out c Planning a trip out again early January - cant wait

  18. Its been freezing cold hasnt it, dont think its lifted all day. You'd have thought there would have been lots of rabbits to ground on a day like today wouldnt you
  19. in a moment of madness yesterday Thanks for the welcome both of you. Hywel, Nuala is still a pup, about 18 months old now, very immature yet, though she is catching. She's a deer x grey, but only 24" tts she grew into her ears - kind of

Well its been a while since I posted on here, so here goes We were back out on Sunday with the dogs, just planning to take it easy and have have a mooch about with a couple of ferrets to see what was about. The forecast wasnt good and we weren't optimistic we'd even get out but it was fine and frosty when we set off Indie's favourite place, in the reeds, I noticed his tail stood upright and flicking from side to side, a sure sign he was onto something and out it came but the view was blocked gotya back across the other side and
  23. As far as I'm aware he doesnt breed plummers any more, though there are bound to be some coalville bred dogs around and about.
