  1. Youtube have dropped the video. Link does not come up, nor on your brother's ad on ebay.
  2. There is a 30 minute BBC Natural World Prog on youtube narrated by St David. Attenborough and bbc and mole should find it.
  3. I have an open FAC conditioned for deer. A nursery has deer coming into their property and they want the deer to be gone. Is it an hourly rate or do you just do it FOC and take the carcase? You can sit for hours and see nothing and they come in when you're not there. I have a trail camera which I could use to get an idea of the times in and out.
  4. http://www.diy-pest-control.co.uk/trapper-t-rex-rat-trap-p-252 And the box. Rats are probably feeding on the surplus grain in the chicken run, reducing that would help. Could also dig out and turn the compost heaps to accelerate decomposition, and destroy any nests with young.
  5. I bought some from fourteenacre, five for £34. Work ok, squashed them from 72mm to 65mm in a vice. As good as or better than flatpack.
  6. Fourteen acre sell duffus traps. I squash mine to 65mm wide from 73mm, in a vice. http://www.fourteenacre.co.uk/shop/product-category/traps/mole-traps/ Theflatpack sell Duffus, pegs and probes. Magnum traps sell Talpex. Colin sells cage traps, but has to be persuaded to post them. https://www.(!64.56:886/colinstrapsmadetocatch/info?tab=page_info Spend a day with a mole trapper to show you ropes, cheaper and better than training.
  7. I emailed Birchmeier and they offered to send a length of tube to me FOC, adding that it is hard to fit the tube to get the parts together. Meanwhile I bought a length of 10mm ID braided hose from ebay and fitted it.
  8. This was a secondhand purchase from here about 18 months ago. As the DR5 was not putting out enough powder I removed the connector which attaches the bottle to the clear pipe which has the gun and delivery tube on the end of it. Inside the bottle is two lengths of copper pipe going top the bottom of the bottle, this attaches to the clear pipe to supply powder under air pressure. On mine the means of attachent was a length of 15mm hozelock water pipe and some insulation tape, the copper pipes are 10mm diameter so 5mm too large. I checked on the Birchmeier web site but there are no det
  9. So where do you get the pump and the attachment for the DR5 please?
  10. So 5.5metres in total. In imperial that is 18 feet. Not measured the Dustick. Four poles at 4 feet?=16 feet plus the powder chamber and the pump adds a bit more. So about the same height.
  11. Thank you Mr Bushwacker. So you can screw two together. I found this link to the product for £25.90, VAT is to be added and postage, but cheaper than Barrettine. http://www.agralan-growers.co.uk/1---2m-brass-extension-10985201-138-p.asp
  12. See Killgerm doing both for £260+ vat £312 quite an outlay £150 ex demo on the bay of E. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331583078079?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&var=540736500606&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT "I use the duster along with several different length extension lances available from Killgerm or Barretines, I can reach 20 - 25 ft horizontally or vertically before the end gets a bit uncontrollable - almost anywhere on a normal house is within reach. I have a dust stick in the store but its not seen active service in 4 or 5 years. DR5 with tried & tested (cheapish
  13. If you shoot the cub(s) the vixen will move those left. So shoot the vixen first, if you can, then dig a 3 foot hole by the earth and put the vixen's corpse in it. The cubs then fall into the hole and cannot get out. Although they probably can by this time of year as they are three quarter grown are almost independent. This does depend on the litter though, as they are born at different times of year and grow at different rates depending on circumstances. It was about a month ago I saw five cubs, one of which went over the field to scavenge in the hedge. About the size of a 3/4 grown rabbit
  14. Well they coughed up at last. Thanks for all comments.
  15. I pumped it up then turned it upside down, which helped a lot, also got a golf ball from a charity shop for 10p. Thanks again.
  16. Thanks for your advice. Bristol to Leeds is a bit of a wander.
  17. www.enserve.co.uk Phone call in March, can I do a two rodent visits for a commercial premises 10 miles away, email to confirm the price and contract. A week later, can I repeat the job as there is still a smell of rodents. Submitted invoices on completion and gave detailed advice by email, including pictures of the condition of the ceiling between the suspended one and the actual. I have been paid for second but not the first. I have phoned the finance manager once a week for the past three weeks and he promises to pay me that week, yet no credit on my account. Any one know anything a
  18. Not enough dust is coming out, not a heavy enough cloud, powdered vapour more like. Not sure if there is enough Ficam D in it. In the chamber the Ficam D covers the sucking tube by maybe an inch. How many pumps do you give it? 25?
  19. I am really low on duffus so am looking at buying some. anyone tried the ones from Fourteenacre? Or got any suggestions for where from please. Ta
  20. Honey does not rot, it may ferment, sealed jars of honey have been found in Egyptian tombs. Nectar is collected from flowers by bees and then subject to 30% evaporation by the bees fanning it with their wings and stored in comb for winter supplies, so it is there all year round, otherwise the bees starve. I try to remove all comb. I did a job to kill a nest of bees in a chimney flue. There were three flues, this one was blocked off and another had a new liner fitted and then the chimney stack was pointed. The flue with the bees was capped but the bees were coming out of ventilation holes.
