  1. My mate has had a couple they are good lamping motors. If you take the back section of you have almost got a pickup! Get a set of all terrains on it and it will go most places. For serious off road mud terrains but to be honest where would you need em in the general run of things?

  8. Still quite impressive tho at the distance eh Indeed I got one at 55 Mtrs this eve Phantom Ok so we want impressive eh . My gunsmith friend builds custom varmint rifles, best I have seen from him was a 720yd headshot on a hare! [witnessed] Shot was taken when snow was on the ground and the hare was a 'dot' on the upslope of an incline. He was using his own built 22-250 and custom loaded varmint rounds. It did take 4 shots to get the range due to his 'zero'
  9. I have a friend who shoot a lot of field target comps. He is taking bunnies regurlarly at 60yds with his HW100 in .177. Its got all gizzmos on it for his target shooting. He talks of rangefinding etc etc as he sits and waits a lot. I never get time to do all that its usually a brisk ish walk round the farm early am and if I see one I shoot it! Also never get time at night for all that dialing in shite!

  11. Hi mate must admit that my jills havent bit me yet and I have had em since kitts. Bold statement bound to get nipped now! I have been handling thier kitts since they were born and no probs there either. I have found that all kitts bite tho, its just their nature. I normally let em have a nip but once the realize your not food and your not gonna hurt em they generally stop! Handling little and often is the way to go, be bold but not nasty, dont snatch away cos that just tempts em to nip. Perseverance and patience, good luck
  12. I have a Super Red 3kW, twin element, infared heater available complete with seperate portable RCD unit. Working last I tried it. [ex hire unit] Looking for £140 Am in Cambs buyer would need to collect as its a big un! Can get pics if required.
  13. Looking at the pic of the gun has just tempted me to do a stock re finish and get rid of that 'factory' gloss finish Prob is no spare gun and hate not being able to use it!
  14. Here is the link to the pic of my Titan Manitou. http://i1030.photobucket.com/albums/y368/masmiffy/Image0268.jpg
  15. Hope these work! Exit and pic of the rifle. http://i1030.photobucket.com/albums/y368/masmiffy/Image0267.jpg http://i1030.photobucket.com/albums/y368/masmiffy/Image0268.jpg
  16. Si - Phantom, The rabbit was 3/4 grown if not adult! I was a bit shocked myself at the result! Will try to sort the 'exit' pic to prove the point. The rifle is a Titan Manitou in .22 and is doing 11.75 / 8 over the chrony with air arms field 5.52's. Had a 'conversation' with Si re the weight of pellets etc a few days back!
  17. Got out early today to get some fresh food for my nest of 10 stinkers. Managed to find this one in a 'set aside' It was 'paced' at 44 yds from where i stood and took the freestanding shot! Was quite windy and needed 1 mil dot over and about same to the right for the wind! Was well chuffed. Did manage another at the farm yard but not as impressive as this. [What is it with the size of pics! i had the exit hole pic to post as well!]
  18. Hi mate I have an almost identical pic with my Titan Manitou in it! [see avatar for alternative 'small' pic] Cant bloody post tho cos, supposedly, its to big Titan were the forunner of Falcon and had John Bowkett there, he is a legend in pcp rifle terms! I have had my Titan for years and would never part with it.
  19. Nod the guy me and chimp sell to will supply you a freezer as well! You and your mate still want the ferret kits I hope?
  20. May seem far fetched but once picked up 22 pigeons for two shots! A huge flock I crept up to on rape one cold winter. They all got up en mass at about 30yds off I picked out 2 as best I could! They were so tightly bunched lots more got killed and pricked! After the dog had done her bit I had 22 in the bag!
  21. What a mess this is! Have to feel for all the innocent people involved in one madmans rampage! Bound to have repurcussions on the shooting fraternity. Jokes are already out there tho!
  22. We are just getting f####ing ripped off with cartridge prices. They know we need em they expect us to pay! Petrol / diesel is exactly the same.
  23. Yep it seems so mate thanks for the help. Now set at 11.8 ft lb [give or take]
