    Thanks for all the great comments folks it means alot. I had a great time at birr, well done to shane and the crew as all went according to plan again. the digging went well and the 5 nations was great. im looking forward to shanes 2014 and the challenges it brings. there are a few changes of our own planned but i will tell more closer to the time. thanks to albert and fellow directors for a great birr fair and i look forward to working toward a great 2014.     This is a counter petition as a bangor animals rights group has aligned itself with other anti groups the biggest being lacs and with their petition trying to sneak in the back door so to speak. They are canvasing in bangor monday and have an october fundraiser planned to further their cause.

    everyone is welcome to the mourne show.first thanks to everyone for the good reports on the show. its been five years on the go and its went pretty well and raised over 6 grand so far for local charity.i personally believe a show is as good as the people who attend and i keep it all as simple as posible. i organize it but i have a great team of people who help on the day and there would be no show without them and the sponsorship i recieve means that as much of the money keeps going to the cause as possible.we had a few travelled over from scotland wales and england this year and said theyd be

    thanks kev lol, this lot wouldnt be back trackin as theyed never find anything without a sat nav lol. classes for lurchers terriers and whippets same as the mourne,same racing along with digging and tug of war. racing starts 11.30 with showing afterwards,for the auld hands with no nav the show is in seaforde county down and will be signposted from the main rd. hot food and gunshop stall on the day. and vermin catchers bbq i nearly forgot,i only got a very mild ache after eating it so not to bad..lol theres even a hole in the hedge for up the beam to slip in
