    A massive thanks to everyone who took the time to attend the show, thanks to all who helped me as without it there would be no show.well done to all the winners and i hope you liked the prizes.ill get some pictures up of the gear supplied to the rescue when it arrives and capaa got £300 this morning and are over the moon as they gathered a bit in donations as well. thats year 5 and we are over £6000 so not to bad i think. again thanks everyone and ill see some of you in november for the mourne race day.

    thanks tommy look forward to the stick lol, the phone hasnt quit today, i even had word that the local council are sending a couple of members for a look round to see what its all about as they may help out sponsorship next year, if that happens ill be able to run with a few more ideas lol

    The winner of the working terrier will also qualify for the North wales terrier and lurcher championships and the champion lurcher will also qualifiy for this event.

    no albert none yet, the weightpull lads are gathering members to attend from all over the country so hopefully it will be a good display.see you there

    The day will start 12.30 with a free childrens class (any dog) then all classes for lurchers terriers strongdogs whippets and hounds will run from then. After showing the digging will take place and after that all racing will be held. All during the day IWP will be running weightpull on their track system and anyone is welcome to give it a go. weather gives it good so lets hope thats right. hope to see everyone sunday for a days craic

    the racing at the mourne has ran two years under these rules without a hitch. at the end of the day it has to stop somewhere, as always at the mourne if anyone has any issue with a dog they are racing against all they have to do is shout and we will sort it out there and then.there are not many dogs that havent been measured now im sure. louiejoe any whippet without papers will go in the under 21 race in which they will be racing lurchers afterall. commonsense and honesty is a very rare thing the last few years lets try and find some and have a good day with the dogs and family for a bit of

    Mourne Lurcher Terrier Show Tuesday via mobile Please remember all dogs racing must be muzzled All whippets must have papers(to be shown) otherwise will race with under 21 Only under 21s will be measured. Lurchers will be split same as mourne raceday with elite and lurcher classes with same prizes for both All racing will be after Digging Showing starts 12.30 with free childrens class Hope to see you all there on the day

    glad to say that IWP will be doing the weigthpull at the event using a proper rail system so we sholud see some big pulls on the day. any legal breeds welcome

    i dont usually post on these topics as im sort of in all camps lol,im not interested in an argument ,my views are from all sides as i work my dogs all season show and race in the summer and run a show. firstly it is a show no judge can tell if a dog is working in a ring it may have marks on it but these prove nothing other than the dog has had a cut. to use a sayin from a friend of mine "a show should be judged on conformation not mutilation" working trails were the only way to prove working ability and sorry to say they wont be back, from a show organizer point of view, you cant have a sho
