i wouldnt say a lurcher wont gaurd!! both mine bark like hell and one of them does and will bite!! if your going to a smal holding i would go for a decent working collie..they bush/mark well and farm collie's hate fox's with a passion..they really are an underrated dog..why do you think so many people in the country side have them..

if you can prove your not a risk youve got a fair chance..will need a bloody good barrester and go before the courts...iv known a few that have done it...

earth iv got two dogs hear there both a fair size take all quary..ie omega/pedigree chum/chappi etc.. fastest dogs iv ever seen from the front door to settee and weve got a big house!!!!.....they both retreve choclate buttons from hand (giant buttons)..they lamp dead well as long as its still daytime..(think there scared of the dark??) they both do single handed from garden to my van!!..stock broken to sheep/cats/rabbits/fox etc........not making a penny profit £300 no offers or dog dealers..

cheers lads..thanks for the kind words...i went out at 6.30 tonight and have just got back at 11.30 after giving someone off hear a hand to sort his rifles out.havnt charged him for my derv or time just did it because he's a decent chap off the site....im not after credit or people saying im great,but if everyone put as much effort in to helping people instead to witch hunts and somthings dodgy post the site would be a world beater.....

firstly i dont think lightbulbs have anything to do with a hunting forum!!! and an american light bulb wont be anywere near as good as an english light bulb...and if your not a donator you shouldnt even have an opinion anyway..... joking apart youve written the best explanation iv ever had the plesure of reading on how thl works........a master piece!!!

nothing dodgy at all..i bought a mk1 finder off earth and hounds at the start of the season for £125.....in the past iv used em got on with em etc etc.....deban wont repair them anymore and there getting hard to find in good nick,so my plan was to buy up every mk1 and collar i could get hold of so i had a good supply for next season...i posted wanted add and got little response..i had a deal on a mk3 locator and 1 collar...i will be working 4 ferrets next season so i want a locator and 4 collars..iv now got a mk1 with 2 collars and a mk3 with 1 collar...i want everything the same so iv decide

the basics....ferrets eat meat..rabbit.pigeon,etc etc you can get a dried ferret food from pet shops but i dont know much about this type of food..housing....ferrets need a sleeping area free from drafts and damp..i would of thought the minimum size hutch would be 4 foot long.2 feet wide .18 inches high...nest box 10 inches square filled with hey or soft straw....if your going to keep ferrets search the forum and read everything you can find,then buy some books..and ask questions....

iv been out with lads that if they see a fox and can call it in it gets shot..i prefer to shoot them if theyve done somthing wrong..ie taking chickens lambs etc...i have a centre fire and if i want to test my skills i much prefer doin very long range rabbit shots.....does seem alot of people have gone fox crazy these days...to be honest fox shooting is easy!! there fairly big as targets go....alot of my ground gets poached by people shooting off the road..havnt had a lamp put on myself while out yet but im sure it will happen some day....a few years ago a father shot his own son with a high po

i bought the mk1 at the start of the season...then i swapped a rifle for a mk3 and some nets...i advertised for mk1 and mk3 stuff,iv had more mk3 stuff offered so thats the way im going next season.....

im not going to do this via pm...so hear goes lurcher 93 pm's bidding me £60 for the locator and one collar,i say no...he then comes on hear bumps my for sale advert then bumps my locator wanted post from a few days ago!!!...iv bought mk3 kit now so the mk1 stuff is going.i bought the mk1 for the price im asking off a lad off hear....so lurcher 93 if youve got somthing to say do it in the open you little pr*ck..and feck off and buy the two locators for £160 you w*nker

8 foot mate....yes i was after either mk1 or mk3 stuff...iv gone for mk 3 so im selling my mk1 locator and collars..i want one receaver and 4 collars....i payed £125 last season for the locator and want my money back.....i only have this mk1 set for sale......

mk1 locator..one handed operation!! dont sound like a bloody space invader..collars are leather and dont fall off down the warren but are a little large and tangle the net as the ferret comes out...deben wont/cant repair them because one of the chips is no longer made.there accurate in an 8 inch square....people have been using them for over 15 years and are more traditional 50% of people love them the elderly and stuck in there ways..(especially hemp user's...) mk 2 absolute rubbish so they rushed the mk3 into production............................. mk3...sound like a s
