Iv baited ni on 500 dogs in the last five years...shepherds are the easiest and probably the best gaurds ppd dogs....if you can cope with a genuine high drive dog a malinios can't be beaten.....any of the mastif breeds are s**t....All of the rottys iv worked bar two or three were low drive tired easily and would take a lot of defense ( I'm being very polite)....

I used 50g in my 22.250 and it was awsome ..hole through hole at 200 yards after load development....used to glue 2 pence's to a board n hit the every time...when I go to the house iv probably still got the reloading info written down....I wasn't using a full load of powder... -
Is this different to the li-ion li-polymer batteries on the go?

I was looking at making a li ion pack up using laptop cells and I was looking at using an 8 amp pcb and was told a,100w halogen bulb pulls more than 8 amps on start up so this battery with a 5 amp PCB won't be any good..... -

It depends what your going to use the net for really....if its for ferreting in and around hedges and woods go for 6z if your out at night using the net get 4z cuz you can set it further out and won't get the crap in it...you start carrying 3x50 yard nets wonds and a priest then have a successful night you will be glad of the 4z because of the weight difference...get yourself somewere big enough and practice..when you think you've cracked it..get a welding mask or rap a scarf round your head so it seriously limits your vision and learn practice more....when you can set the net in pitch darknes

Iv got a light force 170 and a 140 variable...I swap the heads around depending what I'm upto...for general mouching I always take the 140 variable...and a 22amp lithium battery. Don't thinks there's a huge difference between the two lamps really...

Hi....I carry an opinal knife and a blade tech sharpener in my pocket every day and it does fine....with my hand made skinning knife the sharper wasn't any use at all..it put a inbalanced beval on the blade....a wet stone really is the only way iv found to get a decent edge on this blade......the blade tech sharpeners are perfect to carry daily and shapen my opinel...

If your after kingspan have a look at a firm called seconds and co....they are in Powys but deliver nation wide...they deal with all of kingspans seconds...if you go to the yard its mega cheap....we got a 16ft twin wheel trailer stacked 8ft high for £140..

I live next door to a fella that works for the rspca he invited himself round to one of our BBQs..after a few beers I started on about them..he said they did a great job and were funded by donations and people leaving everything to them when they died ...the fella has know one to leave his house to when he dies so I asked if he'd b leaving his estate to them..he said oh god no.....sort of summed it up for me..

It's like a pig jumping a log....I had a .25 barrel on a daystate huntsman and changed it back to .22. Didn't like it with the .25

Yeh fare enough I thought they were value for money really...BUT I'd only use smit on my bullet guns..I'm still using the mtc on the daystate and with a very low lumen led torch I pop pheasents out of there roosts so for what I do its cool....

I started to install my generator yesterday and sat it on some horse mat rubber.it didn't work so iv had to Jack the generator up which was a mission cuz it weighs just short of a ton..I used the knife to cut through the rubber and with a mixture of sand and hitting concrete a couple of times its knocked the edge off it quite badly so iv got an evening of reshapening ahead of me lol

Iv had a shine around tonight on the way into town around midnight...there a few large pockets of bunnies (15's) and I checked out a few school fields and again there were plenty..I haven't permission on any of it so may just be a long netting session once I gain full and legal permission lol...we've loads of birds of prey knocking about and a good few fox's one of which is nearly all black so he'll have to stay with diplomatic immunity.....

Hi gin....sorry for slow reply interweb is dodgy out hear in the sticks...my knife had a secondary beval when I knackered it up with the blade tech....its now just a straight sharpen.....I layed the blade flat on the water stone then pressed on the beval of the blade to get the right angle...it took a few hours to undo all the damage lol

Iv spent the last three years full time learning how to train service and protection dogs..the Europeans are years ahead of us in there training techniques..they are its a fact ..I didn't like the thought of it myself...
