    To set the record straight lads ,the price per head goes up every year as the numbers go down .No new areas in there first year will be paying £50 ,that will be in year 4 .I'e studied the cull around me and been to a few meetings .lot of shite spoke about it but farmers over the moon with results .

    I used to think the breed was useless as an earth dog ,was beyond help and nobody serious about the breed bothered to enter them BUT few seasons ago I met a couple of lads who are very passionate about the breed and keep nothing but digging dogs .Iv'e dug to a few of them with no dramas ,how it should be. The lads struggle with new blood but have introduced fell to compensate and then fold back in .I admire the pair of them and hope all goes well for the future .These lads are about the most honest lads I've come across with second rate dogs called just that and not masqueraded as workers and

    I've raised a mink with ferrets .I was out with mink hounds years ago when they found a bitch mink in a shed and killed it ,Hounds marked a pile of wood so we moved it and came across a nest of 6 kits .I grabbed one before hounds got them and as I wasn' far from where I parked I went home straight away .I had ferrets at the time in a large aviary and one of the Jill's had kits a bit older than this mink .I rolled the crying kit in the bedding and left them to it .The long and short of it was she reared the mink successfully .The games it played were a lot faster than ferret kits could keep up
