  3. I have made a few wires for fox and am trying them out at the moment. Havent taken a fox yet though. I know you set them with a 9 inch loop at 9 inch of the ground i think. If you look through this forum type in Fox snaring and it will bring up some threads with pictures. There are some clever blokes on here and they have done really well with catching fox in snares. I looked at those pics to try and get an idea, Good luck and i hope you get some pictures up when you catch a fox

  6. I was thinking something along the lines of doing my apprenitceship and working during the week, Then on the weekends snaring trapping and ferreting for people. That way i can enjoy my sport and hobby, and have the money to support it. If i earned money from ferreting ect,,, that would be a bonus Because when I think, You would have to be a feckin good trapper to do pest control. You would have to know your stuff and get results otherwise they wont pay you.

  15. Hi people, I noticed a while back a post of foothold traps that caused abit of a commotion. Well i just had some arrive in the mail today, and i thought i would post up some pictures to let people see the kind of foothold that is Legal to use over here for vermin. The traps have offset jaws, with a rubber padding filling the gap. Double swivel and a spring to absorb some shock If this post kicks up another shitstorm, i dont mind if it goes....

  20. Hey guys, Im am seeking some advice and help on my search. Im thinking about getting a dog to come ferreting with me, but i have hit a few bumps, Firstly there are not many running dog crosses like you guys have over their. I cant find any colliexgreyhounds or any breeds that i have read about on these forums. The dogs i have found are mainly whippets, and greyhounds. Im rather in experienced with dogs so you have to bear with me. Its a rather different climate over here, and rather different landscape so buy reading about good breeds that you guys use over there doesnt neccesaril
