    I understand there’s a big class gap in the UK with hunting but do the Irish lads genuinely feel the same? I’ve lived a life on the extreme opposite side of the tracks to most lads in my local hunt but have always been made feel welcome even though I hunt a lot of the same land with my own pack and to be honest a lot of the same faces come to follow mine on foot. You’ll get snobs in whatever you do I’ve always found the best way to deal with them is give them a little fright

    Really lovely Mel isn’t that what it’s all about leaving our loved ones in a better spot than we were left.     You can only fight what’s put in front of you WILF very government for the last I forget how many years have held bills to ban hunting and coursing and without fail they’ve been voted down strongly. I understand your points but I think your failing too see the problems you have in England simply aren’t here maybe not here yet but open your door and look outside things are by and large good and this is a big win for the good guys. Don’t always try and find fault in everyone life’s too short

    That lot get far more air time than they deserve the media has people believing they are popular with there twisted figures and polls. They have as much power to change anything as you or I WILF they are irrelevant if they didn’t get the coverage they get. Healy Rae gave them a good dressing down in the Dail and reminded them to have a look at the vote tally’s if they were in any doubt of what the country wants.

    Now you said it over ya years you know which ones are codding you or not. One of the best I ever had was a bitch she was 14/15 months old before she actually switched on properly but ended up faultless for nearly 5 seasons afterwards. I only breed my own now I won’t take in anything anymore once bitten twice shy
