Had a dog called Bob that went from wales to Liverpool (i think) and not sure where he ended up thats all, looked very much like yours??? ok mate, different dog, mine was bred by a guy here
  3. Hi mate If you dont mind me asking what was the name of that dog??? Gary sting was his name, why do you want to know??
  4. yes mate we have had a few digs to my bitch so far and 2 to my mates russell and one to his bitch so things are starting well, not been posting them up tho, boys get alot of flack for "summer digging" on here so i didnt want to bother incase i'd be in the firing line
  5. nice dig there mate, good start to your season, nice dog too well done lads
  6. as already said if your going to use it for foxes DONT encourage it to hunt rabbits as you will be tortured with it digging to rabbits as foxes used tight dug out rabbit holes alot of the time, if its used to hunting rabbits then its only natural that it will want to get to one
  7. nice one smasher, great to see an old dog like that still doing his job
  8. i dont know of too many but i had one last season, he was a good digging dog, i had alot of great digs to the dog, he was a baying type but could mix a bit too, he had a 1 bad habbit tho , staying in empty holes it cracked me up!! so thats why he is no longer with me. other than that he was a real good dog.
  9. b*****ds, a mate of mine had two terriers stolen in kells the same night last year as your man with the terriers and spanials, then his 18 month old black dog was stolen from the hunt kennells about 6 months ago,im fairly sure you know him Neil !
  10. your more full of shite than your kennells, im with spiff on this one!!
  11. this is the terrier section!!!!!!!!!!
  12. obviously all dogs are different, some dont take much stick and can be given much more work than others, i had a russell that i honestly think could have been dug to 6 or 7 times a week without being overworked as long as he was fit as he was a sounderand seldom got hurt. i dont like working terriers when they are still sore from a previous dig, but sometimes it has to happen, i think continuously working dogs when sore is over working them so its down to the owner to look after his dogs and try to keep them fresh,IMO
  13. USUALLY WHEN THERES NO MORE POTS LEFT IN THE CUBOARD i think with lurchers any dog man worth his salt can tell when his dog has had enough(the dog tells you)ex..when i take my bitch out as soon as she starts to show signs off stress or fatique i know its time to go home no matter if ive been out 3 hours or 6 its know good burning your dog out ehhh!!! terrier section!!!
  14. nothing like saying what you feel is there flatcap
  15. i f****n hate lads shooting foxes at night with rifles, round here ive heard of lads shooting 25-30 foxes in a weekend, i dont see the point in it,
  16. thanks for the compliments lads, the pups are 12 weeks in the pic's but are now 14 weeks old
  17. thanks for the post p***y, i had heard something like that before, i can only talk about one of tims offspring, a bitch that my mate owns, she is a top class bitch, she is the grand dam of the pups. you are right when you said that if he works i wouldnt care if he was pink, and over time if he does the job then parts of him will be, lol
  18. yes black n tan, booths tip tim
  19. yes p***y tip tim would be his great grandsire, on the dams line, the pup is inbred to the sire tho, who is not off tip tim. the sire has produced 1 or 2 black n tans before and the odd red but mainly blacks. so there must be lakeland in his make up
  20. yes mate , i know there must be black n tans in the breeding, this isnt the first that has popped up.i was curious what peple would class him as? i was just looking at him today, thinking to myself that if i didnt know his breeding i would take him for a full lakeland, to me he he just a blank n tan pup, hopefully in 2 yrs time i will be able to class him as a worker! thats the class im aiming for! nice pup tho aint he?
  21. to be fair there is too much for sale in that section, an ad can be missed by people, if perhaps there was a seperate section for terrers for sale, one for lurchers and one for equipment, then it might be better and ads wont be missed, by putting them on here people know they will be seen
  22. a pup of mine born out of 2 black patterdales, so, is it a patterdale or a lakeland??
  23. f**k this shit has to stop!!!! b*****ds
