  1. Exactly, but if I were to guess I'd say the middle eastern dogs have the oldest origins, after all it is the cradle of civilization.
  2. You're only 30, you was flat out on the sniff at 10? Hahahaha
  3. They will both have shared ancestry at some point in history, the more likely scenario is that the arabs took their hunting dogs in to Africa in their expansion.
  4. Both clearly related aren't they?
  5. You lamp em, what are you playing at teaching em bad habits like that, are you sure you're a proper day walker? Lol
  6. Not as much as I thought then, I was expecting you to say at least 3 times a week.
  7. Yeah he did in one of the books I'm sure of it. Yeah, he was never a fan of the saluki crosses in his books tbh. Lol
  8. That's why I said wisely mate, you can also make em flat by giving them too much hammer? How often can you seriously run these types and pures?
  9. Plummer used to say that because of their loping running style.
  10. The best preparation for a fight is a fight. Once you get them in good enough condition before the season starts and you run them regularly and wisely then it's all there on a plate for you. And talking about bull cross owners, that's what many do wrong, they have them penned up all season and then throw them in the back of the motor and expect them to perform like machines and then wonder why they run like beach donkeys. Lol
  11. The same with my grandmother, she was as sharp as a razor and then had a funny turn or two which I suspect was a stroke or something but in the space of a funny turn she lost her marbles. She went in a nursing home and I thought it was basically an immediate death sentence, but she kinda flourished in there for a few years before she passed. It's one thing I do regret though, I didn't visit her enough, but I hate places like that and found it hard to see her when she wasn't the person I once knew, I just didn't like it.
  12. How many litters you bred mate? Do you know what I'm getting at? Say you bred two completely different dogs, the smooth bitch is known for her relentless stamina and the feathered dog is known as a speed demon. Now would those pups that are smooth and look like the bitch have that relentless athletic capability and the feathered dogs would have less in the tank but that devastating pace? As I said, old bulldog men do believe that depending on the phenotype depends what traits you'll get.
  13. Aye mate, nice litter ain't they, I'm going for the smooth, more slipstreamed. Speaking of how they throw, does anyone think that depending on which way they throw, determines which parent they throw more closest to? For example, me and my brother, looks wise I've thrown like my mother and my brother looks more like my old man, but does this run deeper with traits because trait wise it's pretty much bang on as well. Lol You read about similar things in the bulldog world as well, I'm sure it's the same in the lurcher world as well, and that will include their natural athletic perform
  14. More pandering to the unintentionally stupid.
  15. What do you think it's for mate? And it's not really done nowt apart from make me feel groggy when I wake up. Lol
  16. Eh, in English please? Lol
  17. You'd be up Miss Trunchbull's fartpipe quicker than Damp Patch on a big cat sighting.
  18. What's the diagnosis here?
  19. Been today, are you sending this pull-up video of yours by sloth, tin ribs? Lol Be swift with your replies, I've just double dropped.
  20. Haven't read any of his books in years, but I'm sure he said Celt jumped football nets, I added a bit of salt & pepper to the story when I said rugby posts. Lol
  21. Didn't it used to jump and clear a rugby goal?
  22. They'll be able to jump Becher's Brook climbing in and out of there all day. The start of a dynasty.
  23. One of the greatest joys in life viewing a nice litter of pups.
