Well i expect 2008 will be the same as 2007 work, work, and more work.......but.....as my business is also my favourite hobby then i guess i am one the luckiest guys around. My 16 year old daughter in one of her more lucid moments away from the computer sent me a nice thought for 2008. NEVER FROWN, EVEN WHEN YOU ARE SAD, BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHO IS FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOUR SMILE. HAVE A WONDERFUL 2008 EVERYONE Rolfey.

Well done lloydy.........but just a little tip. When you run out the long net..... keep the top and bottom runners TIGHT. This will stop the rabbits twisting the net over. Rolfey.

I have had fox, badger, and hedgehog in my nets at times BUT the hedgehog was the hardest to remove. Rolfey

I got a theoben gas-ram .177 that is deadly on squirrels.........bit pricey from new though. i would reccomend a second hand one tho, Rolfey

Hi SL, This is a very common problem with dogs, family and liitle ones......no one takes a blind bit of notice until something happens........but then its too late of course. You only have to look at the recent news to see what can happen in extreme circumstances with children and dogs. Anyway.......everything was fine in the end......but i for one am always wary of the possible consequences where dogs and kids are concerned. Kind Regards Rolfey.

Well i thought i was seeing things but i have just seen a collared dove flying in and out of a conifer with twigs in it's mouth building a nest..............is this a first. Its either very very early............or very very late..........not sure which. Anyone else noticed things are breeding all year round now? Rolfe

Yes...........i use a lot of Kania's for squirrel control and also good for mink if otters and voles aren't about. i bolt all of mine on to boards sightly wider than the trap and about 3ft 6in long...then have holes top and bottom of the board so i can hang them on a favourite tree. i have lots of trees with nails already fixed so i move the traps around as required. Spray the trap and board a green/brown colour and they become hard to spot on the trees. i also fix a sheet of wire mesh just under the bottom of the trap on to the board...to enable the squirrels to enter with ease. also

I really feel for you.........it is an awful feeling to lose a dog in any circumstances. That's always a danger when keeping running dogs..........but we know that when we take them on. Kind Regards Rolfe.

Hi Guy & Gals, With the big New Year Festivities fast approaching, i just wondered if anybody knew some hangover cures that they could share with all the folks in here?
