  1. i usually get surrounded by police, but they can't do shit if they've no evidence of you been on any land.... i tell them i'm off to meet some lads to watch a dog run on some permission "they" have, then if i like the dog i will be swapping it for one of mine in the back, which ever they want.....lol they've got to prove your breaking the law intensionally, and you can drive around any public roads all night with the dogs in if you want, providing your all above board...
  2. i think you've missread the post above yours mackem, it reads like a real tradgedy to me....
  3. nothing wrong with fourtraks mate, there a good motor....
  4. imo the more efficent dog kills it's foxes by the throat, but that all depends what you class as efficient.... a dog that catches and quickly gets a throat hold does'nt take has much punishment and that means it can be used more often.... a dog that kills by the ribs will probably kill quicker than the above, but it will more than likely have the fox attached to it's face while doing this and recieve more punishment and need more healing time... the best dogs i've seen hit foxes in the back and a couple of quick shakes and its all over, but i have'nt seen many do this..... thats my oppinio
  5. get some forest rally tyres off ebay....
  6. single or doubled is probably down to preference in some cases, but i bet it's the only way of ensuring a kill in a lot of cases.... i hate to see dogs getting doubled up myself, especially bull crosses, talk about overkill... doubled up dogs will last for ever unlike most single handed dogs but they never learn the knack if there not single handed, i've seen hundreds of heavily marked bull crosses struggle to kill a scratty fox on there own, but they would look like dynamite with another dog.... for some its a numbers game, but i prefer to see what a dog is really made of....
  7. anyone who would put a childs life in danger, is no less than a peadophile in my oppinion, and any dog thats shows an interest in attacking kids (apart from trained guard dogs that are doing there job on there own property) needs putting to sleep, and anyone that thinks otherwise needs to get there heads checked out.....
  8. i'd say you'd be best off joining your local FMWTC, and get to know a few of the member's gain some trust and hopefully you'll get spend some time working dogs and make a few friends at the same time.....good luck
  9. this morning ? i'm still rough now, infact i feel like i'm gonna die....
  10. i dont think all "working" judges are influenced by scars, i think they just pick the dogs they would like to have in there own kennels....
  11. Judging starts at 1 mate, but am sure there'll be plenty there before then. Excellent site, really enjoyed the day last year, until some funny red haired fella started following me and my dog around trying to lick my dogs testicles that is ................ 13. sounds like it's not coming out of 4wd properly....
  14. dont know about the petrols, but the 2.8 tdi ones are brilliant, there only downfall is rotting chassis, especially on the chassis near the back wheels....
  15. just give me your address and me and ma boys will drop it off next time were working in your area.... honest to god we will, on ma mothers life....
  16. forgot to mention these pups are all guarenteed to take all quarry, or your money back....
  17. i'd go for a discovery, good on fuel loads of room for the family, dogs etc, and big enough to fit most tools etc in for work... i was looking at a 2.5 300tdi the other day but what sort of milage on a run could i expect.cheers LW i've had 3 or 4 and found them all to be good really, around 30 mpg....
  18. i always start them with an experienced dog, give them plenty doubled up to start and keep them winning, but i expect them to be single handed by 2 y/o... you can tell usually when the dog is ready for one on it's own, but some never even get that far, you can perservere for ever but if it's not there it's not going to happen, and this is the case with 90% of dogs imo.... doubleing up for to long leads them to rely on the other dog, and i've seen loads that look the part, and even act the part when in the company of another dog, but put them out on there own and there shite.... try the dog
  19. i'd go for a discovery, good on fuel loads of room for the family, dogs etc, and big enough to fit most tools etc in for work...

  22. oh yes sorry, at the moment where stopping on B&Q car park at huddersfield, in the 24 ft hobby, there should be a fiesta diesel parked outside with a motorway maintenance sticker in the back window, not sure how long we will be here so just pm me and when i get back to a comp i'll let you know where we are then...
  23. just recently my granny's labradoodle dog killed the neighbours hamster, so with my whippet/irish wolf hound x neopolitan/greyhound bitch coming in season i could'nt resist the oppurtunity of a lifetime, and mated them together, these will be proper pups capable of taking all quarry with ease, also ideal for people with pet allergies having the labradoodle in there aswell..... both parents have been well tested, the labradoodle as not only killed the neighbours hamster, it was also responsible for putting 72 stitches in a lion head rabbit, and half killing a hedgehog that made it's way into m
