  1. "the ruff stuff", whats that then ?, rolled fields ? ploughs ? i'll drive any as i have no respect for my motor, they get used as they should, a dogging motor.... the fields are flat, so theres no need to have a monster truck is there, people have been using subaru's for decades, all season... the only thing that stops them is very boggy fields, when they bottom out, but a "proper 4x4" that weighs twice as much will still sink in even worse....
  2. Has the Legacy gone? You did a load of work to it, I remember reading your post about it, Forester must be good to sack the Legacy for it ........... yes my mates got the legacy now, i prefer the forester, the bigger suspension comes standard on them aswell, and there not as warm as legacy's.....yet
  3. Subaru Forester this season, comfy, plenty of room, good ground clearance, stick to the road like glue, and most importantly there faster than most jeeps, which means you get away nice and quick when it comes on top.....
  4. two non workers can produce a good single handed dog but how often does that happen ?....and the best single handed dogs can just as easy breed pure shite.... but i would'nt take a pup on from any breeding unless i knew for a fact that both parents were tested properly on there own...
  5. i think ryu's threads turned into a 4x4 slanging match, so heres my input.....subaru's are still No1 nothing can touch them, unless its deep boggy mud your driving through....
  6. i got my first bull cross about 16-17 year ago, infact this was my first lurcher, since then i've had and seen loads, some were decent ones, some were excellent ones, but most were nothing less than pure shite....
  7. they are capable of taking deer, rabbits, hares even.... but theres plenty of other dogs out there that are better suited and probably a lot more capable when running these.... bull crosses were originally bred to put a bit of fire and power into a lurcher, but its no good having the power without the fire....
  8. why's there so many threads asking for pics of these dogs ? surely everyone knows by now what they look like.... there seems to be a "hype" surrounding bull crosses these days where a lot of people seem to think "its a bull cross it will kill foxes etc", in my experience this is not the case, the truth is theres just as much shite about in bull crosses as there would be if you were running whippets on foxes (pre ban)....i've always believed the bull cross to be a one trick pony really, so if they cant do that "trick" then you are left with a ridiculously over sized under paced rabbiting dog..
  9. any dog is capable of killing a fox, within reason....but they all have there limits.
  10. f**k me theres a bigger build up to this match, than the Amir Khan fight and look where he ended up.... let the dogs do the talking on the day....and good luck
  11. there just lazy c**ts, without any respect for farmers, keepers etc, i bet there dogs are shit aswell.....
