    ok mate whatever you reckon. so how do you explain the fact that grass and dirt get caught in there after a bit run and he natually wears them out? i never cut them. Does this sound like he never uses them? If grass and dirt get caught in then wich it does, means in my eye's that they are a problem waiting to happen becauce they dont serve any perpouce at all just a useles nail atatched to the leg waiting to get ripped of, ive had it done and had to wait ages for them to heal, so now if i have pup's i take them off, and id bet most good coursing men do the same

But dew claws can usefull especially on terriers, holding, climbing etc. There not usefull on a running dog One of mine has, one hasn't. Someone told me they can be usefull for holding large game but I'm not sure. Thought it was only a cat ting. If your running a leopard leave em on

    every man to himself bill, ive seen and had dogs with them ive seen them nock the shell off and had to wait week's for the shell to grow over, ive seen the black and blue, and ive seen them bleeding , so if you breed a litter for work take them off it take's seconds

    never caught any pregnant one's yet but i seen a load of down outside a bury last week where the doe's ar stripping ther belly's ready for a nest.

    They take second's to remove as pup's, So if there not there they cant cause any prob's take em off

    Last year was a b*****d for mixy the year before i never caught many with but last year was realy bad i put it down to the wet weather they spent more time in the bury's keeping dry there for spreading more hope it clears up a bit for this year.

    A mate of mine has a whippet grey and found it limping badly, under close inspection found a peice of glass and a tiny thorn in its front pad, after squeezing and cleaning it all out 2 days later it is still limping badly, is there anything that can be aplied to its foot to draw anything out that might still be remaning......THANKS......
