  1. Its all about moderation kid, my boys 17 this month, hes at college taking a National diploma then off to uni, hes knocking the crank out of young girls and loves hunting and football. Has been riding a moterbike all summer now ready to take driving lessons. But he will be chuffed to bits when he see his new game after a hard day in the books Healthy boy if you ask me. Spot on... it's definitely all about getting the balance.. and to hear my boy (15yrs) sounding so damn pleased when he found out that I had bought it was great. He went beating at the weekend.. comes home from
  2. I just bought it for my lad at Morrisons @ £25.99 thank-you lord.... !!! He's been on at me for 2 weeks to pre-order @ £40.00 I told him to 'jog-on' and I will get it on the day cheaper..... phew.. the gamble paid off this time... He'll have a nice surprise when he gets home from school... Some kids are taking the day off... !!!!!! GET THEM OUT... I hear what you're saying... but not everyone can be out with the dogs 24/7

  9. http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.php http://www.lurcher.org/llink/forum/viewforum.php?f=4 http://www.stilesmeadow.co.uk/stileshome.html Maybe the fella should try advertising in vets and local petshops... that way he can vet the homes himself...they sound easy to rehome... small and housetrained... Also rescue centres have waiting lists for small dogs so worth phoning around.

  19. Not stolen from shows but that's where the shitheads turn up..!! and it's not all about stealing from your kennel either.. if you allow someone to have your dog for training it or to help you out if you're moving house or on any temporary agreement be it personal or whatever... should this person then sell your dog, that is in my eyes... stealing !!!!! indi on here had hers stolen from practically under her nose at a show.. the kid undid the lead and walked off with the dog.. My dogs are caged in and padlocked at shows.. I think there is now more awareness of dog thieving at shows a
  20. I wouldn't say 'awash' in fact they are very much a minority.. there's a lot of good lurcher people attending the shows and this one was a good, well run, enjoyable event.. 'There's a bad apple in every bunch'
  21. I went along for the day, although started off pretty grim weather and had to pinch my lads jacket.. the sun came out and was a very pleasant afternoon. My Willow not on form and still bit lame on the bloody front foot a combination of that and a bad slipper she didn't stand a chance.... Simulated course was disappointing as they seemed to have a lot bigger area they could have used but perfect conditions and a good distance for straight racing. Congratulations to the well deserving winners All was not lost for me though as I had a surprising result with my 8month old pup.. winni
