got to agree with sesku get it out ferreting! i have a pup here 10 weeks old and for me is going to be 90% ferreting, has been introduced to the ferrets already and has learnt that she cant nip them without expecting one back, as soon as she has had her second jab she will be out once or twice a week with me and one ferret and a couple of nets in small sets doing her basics sit stay down etc whilst the ferret works, there is no pressure on her to do anything other than watch and learn, I find it beneficial to do this training in the field while things are happening around the pup as the amount

What Would You Do About A Dog Pedlar Next Door?
jonnygray replied to Ratreeper's topic in General Talk
keep ya mouth shut and look after your own business! if you keep running dogs and hunt there will soon enough someone wanting to cause you trouble that you dont need! if all that fails ask Basil Brush he knows everything about everything and will advise you well!! prob tell you to pop round with a buicket and cull everything she owns! -
100% and trial wanted i would reckon its not a whippet hes after! lol

28 years ago when i was 10 i ran a springer x lab with my ferrets cos it was all my mum would let me have, it was me best mate and to be fair was feckin useless, rabbit bolted in the net dog picked it up and ran all the way home with it! daytime mooching dog grabbed a pheasant in the bush would run all the way home with it. my entire childhood was spent picking up bags of one, as i had to pack up after the first one and chase the dog home. wouldnt have swopped him for the world though!

not my mate! dont know the guy! just dont agree with the culling! dont know how at birth you can decide which which pups are the ones to cull or not! can you tell me how you decide??? also is it legal to cull pups yourself?? lads getting banned and warnings for posting illegal hunting pics or stories and your advising people to cull a litter! by the way have you ever done this yourself and speaking from vast experience or just spouting what youve heard??
-
lad down my way would have had just the dog your looking for! but it was in the half of the litter he culled! the 6 he kept were shit! get baxil to have a whisper to his bitch im sure she will spit just the one out and only with the qualities you are wanting!

as there are always stories of people being ripped of and conned would just like to say what a pleasure to deal with and trustworthy person Lurchermann is. I posted a bushnell Rangefinder last week and on receipt he sent out a mk3m finder and collar just as he said he would. I would not hesitate to deal with him again and would recommend anyone to do the same! Cheers pal.

picking a bitch pup up from Magpie on sun aft thanks or I might have had a look! not saying anything about the rights and wrongs of the litter just the f****n bare faced bollocks of people sticking there nose into other peoples post for no reason! I looked at the post as a mate of mine said hed seen it and to have a look at the pups cos hes looking for a bull x and thought they looked alright, dont agree myself with culling at birth as you could by all means drown the best half of the litter, but what do I know im sure theres many men like bazil who can pick a pup straight from the womb!!! we

what a f****n nobhead! keep your opinions to yaself or start a new topic"bazils opinions" put down all the shit you think matters and then anyone whos interested can post on it! other than that sharpeend good sounding litter from decent looking pair, dew clawed, wormed and from working parents at a decent price, the lads even offered petty money off for anyone travelling!!! good luck with the litter pal and theres a few other cretins could do with being culled before any of this litter!!! I'm afraid I agree with bazil. Why on earth would you keep a litter of 12 pups if you haven't got homes l

had a bitch that was completely the opposite, id borrowed her to kennel with a bitch that was noisy when alone and during the off season made a right racket, she was 18 months old big wooly saluki x, took them both for a good hike daytime and every run she had straight back to me, free running and everytime she was shouted straight back to me, turn and head for home and off she went took an hour each time to get her back, she would just stand in the field and look at me 50 yards away. out on the lamp ive never had a more well behaved dog, if she caught to be fair she would kill as she had only

Or big cats. just incase I catch one would you advise a pillowcase or the carpet tube piled up in the boot method??? Ball of wool tied to the back of your car. Is that for malt to chase z: / PUSSY!!!

they may be and i wouldnt dream of saying she was better or worse than anyone elses dogs! just saying she loved a bit of charlie and could do the job without any drama, she also lamped rabbits picked up big ears in the day and was a cracking ferreting dog! by no means an out and out fox dog as i said but she liked a look at em when she got the chance. before i got her she was put to a saluki bull x and the pups were monsters all over 28" and they did anything that was put in front of em night after night! not my kind of sport but each to their own! jonny

had a deerhound x out of slacks lines that loved em only a small bitch 25tts and made easy work of them, she went to someone on here who had a few with her before she broke a hock and retired to a pet home, had a big big 3/8 5/8 hancock that again loved em and the more he got bit the more he fkn hated em and wanted to kill em but was shit on rabbits eat more than he retrieved. never had a bull x myself but have run with a few and for out and out fox night after night after night bull x or wheaton x are built and bred for the job. but you can certainly have fun with the collie or deerhound x
