It's that time of the year Mr Tp..has to end sooner or later Had a mooch out today with Ace32,lots of snow AGAIN did'nt even set a net just dished out the lead earings with the 12g's.Only managed 3, we missed 4 & some just would'nt bolt even with 3 ferts in the set. Just hope the warmer weather comes when it's supposed to then we can get the peashooters out of retirement

Sorted out a mooch with Ian as our ferreting season comes to stop shortly We headed up to Ian's Tynedale permission as my place is finished till May as the lambing season will be starting shortly & the rabbits are very thin on the ground. Ian had his 4 jills,me a hob,jill & quickset & Ian's O/U 12G for good measure...On the way up we seen a few sitting out in the -3c frost covered fields.We started off at a bank of well used & marked sets after a slow start we got 3 in the bag with me me missing a runner with the shotgun (never used one for over 14yrs) .

  6. Have you had the trigger kit put in it??Had the same bother with my .22lr...lots of trigger creep.18yd groupings were round on round however the 50 yd groups were the same as yours.Fitted a rimfire magic trigger kit & the 50yd groups were almost round on round.
  7. Good bag Trev you doing fine with the longnets..just keep at it & once you know the rabbits bolt paths on your grounds you'll be sorted...it ain't a black art

Had a invite for a mooch out with Netman today jumped at the chance as my place is a rabbitless quagmire at the moment .Took 3 ferts today,2 jills & hob,Andy had his stocky poley hob & albino jill,no nets required from me as Netman lives up to his name,plenty of nets & quickset longnets to be used. We arrived at a wooded area with plenty to go at & we got off to a decent start with 5 in the bag however the next few sets produced nothing,so off we moved to some decent hedge sets further along on his permission.From one hedgeline & corner set we accounted for another 16 f

  14. like a buckled wheel,get your self down the gym(kickboxing) like i do you feel great and fitter plus there is always some tasty birds there .I am 36 as well so it won't kill you My dad did say he would still go when the weather is warmer and there is not much walking to do.   17. Rather enjoying the blade action B this season 4 digs up to now off to the osteopath at the end of the month to get me back sorted out after a hard season on the blade

Last Sunday NEH73 met up with me to return my lost camera we sorted out a mooch for today yesterday after another 4-6" of snow had fell & the temperature was below freezing....really bored of this snow now . We met up 9am at one of Trev's local permissions,i had 2 jills,Jet & Amber,Trev had his albino hob & jill & his lurcher in tow.We started off in a hedgerow set,bolting 3 netting 2 in the quickset with 1 breaking a wand as it hit the net at full tilt.The other managed to roll the net with the dog giving chase but no chance as the rabbit stuck to the hedgeline making it very
