Sounds like a true "little dog with a big heart" sorry for your loss but i bet your proud of him! like someone else said at least he went doing something he loved have only been out a few times with terriers but they are amazing dogs and can't believe how much heart they actually have. RIP

Anyone with shit comment need not reply! Just wondering does anyone do rabbit on the bbq? was just reading a thread about someone having a bbq tonight and just thought i've never had one with rabbit. rabbit kebabs would go down a treat i reckon. The other things do you tell friends what it is cause i know some people would be horrified?

Was thinking of having one! been doing a bit of gardening and just come in so gonna have a few tinnies. The thing is last year we had some nice days in spring then had a shit summer so make the most of it you never know when the next dry weekend will be. enjoy and make sure you cook that meat properly nothing worse than the shits lol

Just my opinion but i'd say go with a Hotpoint my mum always had them and since moving out about 16 years ago i've had a hotpoint! so thats just my opinion.

what a decent chap! lending the lad a book by mail! And good advice, find someone local who you can tag along with next season, my bible when i was growing up and learning about ferreting was graham wellsteads "the ferret and ferreting guide" i have read several since and Donnie's advice about taking the best bits is sound advice, not everything that is written will be useful/applicable for you, Cheers for the advice! i have been tagging along with someone been out a couple of times with justin off here thats whats got me interested. the more advice i can get the easy i t -

Just wondering has anyone had a ferret from Newport rescue centre? Am thinking of going for a look on the weekend if i got time. I want to know do they want to know the ins and outs of a ducks arse like most rescue places do? will they let ferrets go out to working homes or do they like them to go as pets? only reason i ask is cause i wanted a cat once from a cat rescue and they wanted to come and do a house visit to check me out first lol.

I will look into rehoming from welfare society as i was only reading the other day on here about a place in newport which isn't really that far from me that had rescue ferrets. Just after a little advice! Am looking to get my first ferret soon, I've been out a few times with a mate ferreting but fancy getting my own got a carry box and cage sorted and just wondering what age is a good age to start a ferret working? am hoping to maybe get a kit very soon and hopefully have it working next year? what tips do you have for training it? am i right in thinking try to handle it as much as possible? and whats the best thing to feed them? Cheers guys and gals look forward to learning from you

It'll be interesting to get the whole story but i think the majority think that he's right in what he did maybe stabbing and killing was a bit harsh but like someone said earlier maybe the burgular had the knife to start with and the owner took it off him? i got a Sheridan eb22 with red dot laser sight that would do the job nicely! It's a great gun though a bit loud without silencer though. Was hoping to give it a try today but today's ratting was cancelled due to barn full of sheep nevermind will be back there soon to try it out

top stuff but a warning to anyone who uses it do it outside cause this shit really stinks especially if it goes on your hands lol. Good stuff though would defo recomend!
