Brilliant for the kids and grandkids to see the circle of life. The young nursery up the road from me has one for the young nippers now. A long time ago now but my son was at this nursery and was telling the teachers about our chicks and chickens. All the other kids were fascinated. So my wife being my wife said you can borrow our incubator if you want. So comes home tells me . ME - I'm like Don't you mean my incubator love . The misses like they do urrrr yes your incubator love. Lol Anyway 14 years later the school are still doing it with the kids bought there own incubator. My little nephew

Pet transport ( high flyers ) No more walkers only doing pigeons no other birds. But High flyers good carriers. Don't know if you've got rid of birds yet. But just incase you've still got some and someone's wanting a carrier.

True with the old creosote can't find that much these days. Thing is when you get red mite In timber frames it's a pure b*****d to keep on top of. Best thing to do is burn the b*****d to ground and start again. Try make the housing untouchable for mite to bed in. Run the inside of the house with pvc then seal around all edges

Can't beat the excitement of that tip bending double hearing the reel screaming off. A normally leave it for a second or two having the drag set firm making sure that hook on rig beds in natural.

Been a great year for this pair too first year that I've let them rear naturally with both of them rearing young. At first was abit of a nightmare due to cock bird being abit full on with young. Wanting to feed the young but being rough in doing so. Lads who breed will know what I'm talking about. Pecking away at the young to try get them to feed. But in not doing so he was getting frustrated with young. So I've moved him into a little cage in the flight just for a couple of days. After a few days introduced him back to which he was fine. On the second round you'd think he'd been at it years

Well few more birds have hit the sticks last few days guys. Am really happy with the amount of young I've bred and quilty of the birds. I'm a big believer in quilty over quantity. Would rather have 1 stunning youngen than say 5 box standard types. These birds in these images are of what I mean by quilty birds and mutations from pied breeding.

I've a catch box here like a mesh type thing with some flimsy bars inside. Had to tie wrap them up cheap shite. Be lucky if a can hit inside the catch box. Like a nobhead a put one through my aviary window on door few months back. Lucky a didnf take one of birds heads off. Be my luck only thing I'll kill my price bird ? ?

This is a lovely steady hen lads lovely yellow mutation too. Put her with a classic pied that comes from pairing that's got alot of white in. And this came out satenette pied lovely bird

A bred this one too from the yellow sib cock to white mosaic hen. Lovely steady bird think its a hen though. But never mind. Some lovely markings on the wings you've got to be happy with that mate cracking bird. Be nice to see when moulted out.

Crazy been going good few years that forum. Now there all on these others which are all on Facebook a don't do that crap so it's upsetting that this forums gone. Some top breeders were on that forum Luke who worked for bavister now for Jackie at essex birds tommy another lad from down south Alex with the bullfinches from over west eddie from up north east few good men on there.

I've a few pairs that are still messing about will see if owt comes of them but if a was to put a wage on it a think the eggs will be empty. Am not moaning like a say I've not done too bad to say what it was like the weather at the being of the so called start of the season. Think many were struggling. My last lot nipper there's 3 lots all together. You'll see from the images the rest in moult heavy ugly b*****ds lol The first image the young there are a few days older than the second image and the hen on young I've not been near only to ring them. Was very lucky all the young were on the floor so cages the cock bird up kept visual on the hen. She settled back down a knew then it was the cock bird. b*****d they are. All them In flight are heavy in moult now.
