    Nice fish mate. It's crazy because there like dead weight. You look at a carp the stomach on some it's like an air pocket. Where these are just pure machines. Designed for the rivers that they once came from originally. Amazing fish. We've got a couple in local lake but won't have that engine like the river sturgeon will.

    Was told this morning by a chap fishing on river near me. That other week his pal was on one of local waters doing a few nights. And two lads came trying to take his fishing gear. Lad ended up with a right black eye made a mess of him by all accounts. Scary f***ing times specially when you don't know what there carrying or want an hours kip.

    Thought I'd share this for lads that don't read the anglers times. Brilliant to show the younger generation that these are some things you may get caught on due to plums throwing them in.     Not near me the weeds covered in shite from shit works horrible stuff. Used to have like grass type of weed in river an bits in the canal. Everything from surface to the bottom is covered in this shite just smother everything. Some may have come off farm land too.

    Went on local river & a man made type of pit. Both covered in that horrible dull algae shite that's from shit works. This area used to be good for chub , trout , plenty of perch. Hit the little stretch of canal first. Then headed onto this pit type water nothing. Then onto the river. Ended up having one fish. All the natural oxygen weed was covered in that shite on the bottom. f***ing guts me because the river Calder in this area was cleaning up 15 years ago. Only past 5 year it's gone down hill with this c**ts at Yorkshire water.

    Morning guys hope all are well. Going for a few hours on the canal & River with the lad this morning. Managed to get a break from work. So thought I'd call him see if he fancys a few hours on the water. What's best advise for the jelly type lures. He's bought loads of them off temu. How would you set the hook on them. A know there's a few ways of doing it. But who's had success with them and tried the diffrent setting of the hooks.

    I'm thinking on buying a grands worth taking them on car boots putting a quid on top of each item or maybe 2 quid. So selling the items for 4 quid. Should double my money. Do a few hours on each car boot.

    Well some little bits arrived from that temu. Brilliant little site that temu for fishing gear. We all know most things now are made in China. All the top Angling company's will have stuff made over there for the cheap labour. These little rat / mice surface lures are mint. And I'm pleased with the look of the other lures too. A don't even think there's a tenner here that I've spent. If I'd of bought these from local Angling shop I'd of been looking at easy 20 quid 4 quid an 5 quid here an there.

    I've some nice classic from pied breeding few eumo same from pied breeding from a single factor pair. Plus some brown pastels. I'm keeping a few of them back for next season. Hopefully get some brown pieds I'm going to try buy a brown pied cock in. But its not something you see much of over here. A fella down London was trying to get hold of some. Maybe if I put two none visuals a may get lucky. From diffeent parenting. Will see hopefully get a brown pied cock bird.
