Well, I've just come back from a whirlwind trip to south west France. A friend has a property down there and we left early saturday to take some furniture with a return on Tuesday. The 38 hour/1600 mile round trip was made more interesting by the ammount of wildlife I saw on the way. The bird of prey numbers were amazing, I saw literally hundreds of buzzards and kestrels. I also saw dozens of roe along the roadside verges and fields and my first wild coypu. I also ran over a snake near Bordeaux, I can't identify the species but it was around 6ft in length and steel grey, I caught the back

My wife is working Monday so i'll be taking the kids and going with my brother in law, he was Wheres Wally on THL but he never posted as he led a boring life If you see a 6ft ruggedly handsome chap with two young kids and a grizzled old Patterdale say hello.........I'll tell you to f*ck off but still say hello (only joking)

I wouldn't be too concerned, some 5 month old pups are still babies where as others need holding back, just keep giving him the opportunity and he will eventually click. Try getting him out with some experienced dogs.

Which bit of the coast is it? Try to walk the dogs at the beach on summer evenings, followed by fish and chips.....for me

There is a new hay tax coming in , also you will be charged for methane emissions Shouldn't laugh really as its not that far from the truth. Did you know cattle farmers are soon to be charged per cow for there methane emissions

I'm sure pits would have been aforded more protection if they were a KC registered breed but I think ALL dog owners should stick together. The image of the pit was down to poor representation within the media.
