Yes I agree the low price of ferrtes is often reflected on the level of care they receive, too many people treat them as disposable as they can replace them for a fiver....................

Mines a 02 plate and done 112,000 Tony, my mates Navara has done the same at 115,000, could just be bad luck, what with this and my personal circumstances I'll be getting it repaired then selling it and buying a diesel estate.......................

Had the phone call this afternoon..................the fuel pump needs to be sent away and reconditioned and the gaskets need replacing, they couldn't give me a defnate but with that and the diagnostics it will be around £1,500

Let them tell you what's wrong, you don't have to let them do the work! Haven't you found a friendly independant to work for you? Am dead lucky with my LR, one of the Technicians from the main dealers does mine after hours, he's a bit of a TD5 loon and doesn't charge the earth, even keeps his LR overalls to do the work! Your right Aaron, my mate had a look but wasn't sure if it was the fuel pump, but I didn't want to spend a grand and find that wasn't the problem, fingers crossed.........

Why would anyone spend years and generations tryng to breed a smal pitbull when there are lines of working terriers that can aleady do the job? It would not take years and years, a few tight matings and you would be getting somewhere, like these raccons are not the typical ground quarry, there used to be regular accounts of pit bulls working cats and coons in edrd and on another froum I used to go on, as I understand it coons are killing regular earth dog breeds, so a bit of heavy muscle and jaw would be the ticket. Yes Jonno, the book is in hardback so it should be more durable than the last one, unfortunately there are no photos but some Frainesqe drawings

To be honest, I found the first book had a bit more hunting stories but I thought it was an excellently written book and very hard to top.................

I got this book at John Huberrys show and had a chat with Colin who seemed a really nice bloke. The book is full of stories of country characters who seem to be a rarity nowdays and Colin has the ability to write a story that enables the reader to imagine the situation, I recommend the book to anyone who enjoys the countryside, hunting and its characters.............
