Good luck to those who take on nervous dogs but personally I wouldn't gel with a nervous dog, unless I have the peanut butter ready..........

why buy it, if you knew it was nervous.? having a dog like that, is always going to alot harder to bring on, than norm temp of a pup. Take it back, and start again with confident pup, make life easy on your self+pup. first of all dont listen to this crap above. just got myself a 10 month old same problem as you nervous as hell not lead trained did not respond to her name amongst other faults, had her now 2 weeks a totally different dog recall to her name coming along fine walks well on lead not so nervous. give all the time you can spare dont shout or hit her in any circumstances be pat

Strip naked and lather yourself in peanut butter and allow the dog to lick it off, it wont make any difference to the pups confidence but you will enjoy it.........

So you don't agree with his methods but paid for two of his pups, just a little hypocritical isn't it? You say your dogs are 100% what you want, well different folks have diiferent levels of expectation from there dogs. Its not about buying a pup and expecting it to train itself, if you wanted a working gundog/terrier/guard dog/sled dog etc etc you wouldn't trawl the free ads and its the same with a working lurcher. Answer this question, if you wanted a pup you would invest time and investigate litters for the best choice, would you A) purchase a pup from parents who have been tested and f

I would never sell one of my dogs, IF I had some major problem that meant I had to rehome my dogs they would go for free to friends. A permanent working home where a dog would get grafted, fed and a warm kennel is far more important to me, money is the ruination of working dogs.........

I'm bump my gums somewhere else if you stop flappin your lips Anyone who wouldn't pay 200 notes for an entered terrier should feck off and take up belly dancing or jigsaws IMO. As for gifting pups, totally agree, you know where they are and what they are doing. Im now off to bump my gums on a coffee and roll up
