Yes generally if caught in same field , can end up running over a couple or more fields round here if you drop on a wise one and av a good race

It’s good fields compare to some local to me , some places you’ve a stone wall , Barb wire fence and a fkin dyke all in one . All the best with the pup and enjoy it

My old pal had a good whippet years ago that could pagger hares on tricky land local , best i sin it so was 3/3 and it cramped up the poor sod

Scatty things them malis , old boy I now keeps a good line of Dutch herders he says there same dog way back . Personally I’d keep a Dutch over Mali any day

Another block at back of our estate held a load of varied coloured rabbits for a couple of years but a woman who had a small holding had a few pet ones and they had escaped and x bred with wild ones

Crafty fuckers them black rabbits , only ever had about 3 of them in my time, used to get a few of what we know as Dutch rabbits (brown & white) on one area back of Burnley never seen them any where else

Can’t beat the old beddy x dirty neck , had one 17 year she put all sorts on table

All coursing breed generally have good pedigrees , if it clicks and you put the foot work in you’ll not to far wrong . Best of luck we dog

My good pal , as good a dog man as any man , lost his way and ended up in hospital and never bounced back from it so he don’t run them any more but he’s a good true friend
