    Ive never slagged off any dog from that litter I think yours is a nice looking bitch, and I respect anyone out their walking the walk with their dogs, you just put up a post directed at certain members on here without naming them so don’t take it to heart when you get something back ?

    2 of my mates got litters on the ground right now out of good proven bitches, all pups being gifted & every one booked before they were born, so that’s not a theory it’s fact. Not everyone operates that way some people want to make their money back & don’t mind selling pups to strangers but not everyone shares that opinion, some people are very guarded where their pups go and money doesn’t come in to it.     Only ever saw 1 half cross wheaten greyhound was a handy dog round a hole but as far as being a runner goes I think I could’ve ran faster, caught a few rabbits & the odd fox on the lamp but hares & deer that didn’t hit fences didn’t have a chance. Similar thing to the half cross bull greyhounds they’re very good at their job but they’re a million miles from an all round lurcher, just my opinion mind few people will disagree with me.

    Don't understand this new craze, lads get a camera & a YouTube account next thing they’re making kennel names and peddling pups.     Phone your local greyhound track & ask them, they’ll put you on to someone. For a dislocated wrist though I’d find the best running dog vet you can and travel wherever you need to, if it becomes an on going problem that’ll be the end of your dogs serious running career.

    I’ve never gave a puppy 2 jabs, just the 1 does fine, and tbh I’m not even sure they need that. I don’t get them chipped till they’re a year old as well, had a pup chipped at 8 weeks good few years ago and the chip migrated right round to the joint behind his front leg caused a bit of a problem.

    Had it loads, dogs kill 2s 3s every time out then when you see them run they don’t look like killing a thing. Life’s too short to tell lies & make excuses for duffers, best cutting your losses and starting again. I had a dog jack on me not too long ago, it’s a horrible feeling but always better doing the right thing.

    You could have a top class bitch done 5/6 hard seasons, and a dog the same quality & the 2 of them together could produce rubbish, nobody can predict breeding, if we could then we’d all have superstars. You can stack the odds in your favour but if you expect a lot of your dogs you’ll get some that can’t hack it, just the way it goes

    Good post apart from your last statement, no matter how good a dog man you are & how much work you put in, you can’t make a silk purse out of a pigs ear, if a dogs no good it’s no good. If you keep a decent standard and don’t budge from it you’ll get failures, it’s what you do with them that matters. A lot of men will just lie about it and say the dogs class when it’s not, make every excuse they can think of for a bad performance, this gives the impression that these men must be top class with dogs cause they never get failures but really they’re just full of shit

    I picked you up wrong, I didn’t realise you meant get their money back by breeding, I thought you meant they wanted an actual refund from the breeder ? Youre right without a doubt, so many dogs get bred these days just because they’ve got bulldozer, romeo, Lucas etc in their pedigree no matter if they’re any good or not it’s a shame.

    Do you think it’s the fact that people don’t like parting with their money, or maybe they don’t like parting with money and later feeling like they’ve been lied to and ripped off? I’m not tight in the slightest with money but if I bought a pup then found out the breeder had been lying about the parents capabilities I’d be annoyed whether it was £10 or £1000
