Brilliant ad, I think it should be run on TV, thank you for posting it and I hope everyone here watches it AND sends it around to everyone they know and encourage them to watch it. The company I work for is running ads showing a kid standing before the judge (kind of like in that ad) and being sentanced to X number of years in jail and they talk about the monetary payout the dead mans family might receive, I want to know how in the hell can you replace a life with money? we had a bobcat in the high desert a few years ago and there was something like 40 mice packed into it's stomach ... they all looked perfectly intact other than being wet and dead. It was the sheer number of them that surprised me as the bobcat was about the size of a standard large adult bobcat, maybe 15 pounds. I'd seen a study on the stomach contents of caught sharks, there were things like tires, license plates, coolers etc, crazy!

LOL no, I don't lie! I was asked by Kye if I lied about something quite important (whether I was REALLY roading the dogs properly on the nights he works or is out of town!) so I was more than a little annoyed. Hey, I can admit if I was making a bigger deal of something than it really was, which is why I asked the question. We rarely argue or disagree (because I'm normally always right and he doesn't bother to challenge me because it isn't worth his time ) so I thought I'd ask the question here. thanks for the replies (and just kidding about the always right thing )

Let me make sure I am understanding clearly what the answers have all been so far ... if Person A asks Person B if Person B was lying about something specific, that's NOT the same as calling Person B a Liar. Thats what you 5 lads are all saying, correct?

my old vet in my old town was a repro specialist, he had I think 2 dead dogs brought in and he did one of his own dead dogs, 2 were bulldogs if I remember right as he was a bulldog breeder as well

one collection (if the sperm shows good motility - "life"), should have anywhere from 2-5 breedings worth, depending on the size of the dog. I think it can get expensive for when the bitch comes in, and testing her for the "right" time to best insert the straws. And no, the dog does not have to be alive to collect, as there is sperm always waiting in the dog, so as long as he had not just been bred before death, it might be worth collecting if the dog is newly deceased

I was toying with getting a greyhound pup from someone near us who has some of the Henry's old stock, intending to "raise it right" (aka raise it like a lurcher), but then I found an ideal crosbred pup from proven stock so my decision was east to make

I've done it here but obviously my costs are different than yours, mine costs about quid a year to store, and the original collection was about 200 quid. I was told back then that it is only viable to a high percentage for about 10 years

this bitch on the left has done everything, raised as a lurcher though not as a track dog. I don't think any animal group is worst for stock worrying than an ex track dog ps not our dog, the other 2 are

I have heard of dogs who have died and the owners have taken the body in and had sperm collected and frozen for future use. Obviously there is a time issue.
