  4. I had a 99 L200 double cab, real good truck, never had any problems and kept it up till 90 000. Had a few suspension joints and prop shaft joints go, but apart from that just regular service and cam belt when it was due.
  5. Proberly a break in a wire and it is earthing out and blowing the fuse, check the wires into the back lights and follow them back looking for it. Hope this helps
  6. Yes sounds expensive to me! Have a look on ebay or auto trader to see what they are going for.
  7. The lense parts are interchangeabe, so you can put a striker size lense on a blitz and vice versa. Does that make sence?
  8. Theres pleanty of cheap ones out there, but most of them are rust buckets. I sold a M reg one recently which was tidy for £700
  9. Yup striker 170, go anything bigger, like the blitz and i recon they are too big and clumsy.
  10. Yeah get a higher amp battery, I use a 12V 17amp batt and it lasts full power about 5 with a lightforce striker 170.
  11. Blimey they are some tires! Do they catch much when turning? If you use it much on the road the coppers might have a go about them sticking out of the arches too much, if they do all i have done in the past is screw conveyor belt around the artch.

  15. Good man who knows his 4x4s i would challenge anyone with a standard 4x4 vehicle with MUD TYRES fitted , to any trial against my Hilux on any ground or terrain that they choose if the can go mine will go better, and when you do get stuck its okay i will pass around you you and pull you free. Only problem with double cabs is there too long to be good off road, they catch the ground, and ground out much more than say a Landrover 90, because there is more overhang past the wheels. A good driver in a 90, or suzuki SJ with mud tyres would go much further.
  16. If its one of those he saw, where was it? I will go there tonight!!!!
  17. You will proberly be able to make a KLF one fit, should be loads of scrap ones now, KLF's are getting old, and they have got plastic tanks. Ring your local Kawasaki ATV dealer they will proberly have a scrap bike there. Theres quite a big dealer near us if you have no luck, try him Roger 07919 523 499.
  18. Try putting Gwyn Lewis 4x4 in google, he knows his stuff.
  19. You need a chain saw license to buy any top handle chain saw. A stihl MS200T is a top handle saw meant just for tree sergons, they use with just one hand when up trees. You can buy a normal chain saw, with a 14" bar without a license.
  20. Or it might be Robread and Reedy0908 is the same person???
  21. What tyres have you got on? This would be the first thing to change for me. Get some BFG all terrains if you use your L200 on the road lots, but still want OK tyres for off road, Or go for any type of Mud Terrain tyre if you are mainly off road. These tyres should stop you getting stuck all the places you go in L200's. If you are set on putting a winch on, Come up winches are very good for the money. You will also need a winch plate, and get it welded or bolted to the chassis, as well as cutting your bumper and grill up so it will fit. Winches kill batterys too, so you may have to put a Opti
