  1. Bangers , just because your arse went doesn't mean others will . Live and let live buddy . I'm just a ratting man , but wouldn't advise coursing men to cock .
  2. Haaaaaaaa it was said with intention bosun . However as you know , the heavy going certainly makes a difference. What i was referring to was the dog murdo killed 6 on the heaviest of land up forfar and 3 other dogs blanked badly. But as you say just enjoy what you do . Me , I'm just a ratting man now . But enjoy mickhulls posts regarding the slop lol
  3. Seen it with coursing bred dogs , the fighters won't tackle a fox . But the quiet dog that hates fighting absolutely destroys them . Strange but true
  4. I used to have a picture of her . She was out of frank crows flo x dodger ( collie x grey)flo was out of his bitch sally saluki x from Blackpool x joe mckennas murdo . He was lurcher to lurcher 28" of pure muscle and endless wind . Loved the slop .
  5. Bob x meg . Meg and her brothers were the toughest of dogs bred from real hard animals
  6. Seems like a couple of months ago that bobdown drove up here for his line . Time flies
  7. Best of luck bobdown . Hope u have many years of happiness walking the land with her .
  8. Took some stretch that pup
  9. The land makes the fens look like Ireland
  10. You still moaning . Haaaaaa
  11. Million % . Too many use their charges , ruin them . Then pass them on . Good dog man sorts his dogs first thing in morning. Grafts all day then attends to them before having his own dinner. As I say , respect for doing the right thing
  12. Doing right bye the bitch . Respect
  13. The fawn bitch is Jamie's nice. She hadn't been road walked for 4 year due to her wrist injury. But in her pomp her feet were similar
  14. Her dam was my old bitch romeo x lilly . Lillys dam was out wee bob x saluki x beddy whuppet. Her sire was blaze ( Wayne from longtowns dog) he was floyd x a real good bitch from Cumbria. Cheers
  15. Thanks , she was 10 months in that pic . . She'll be 3 in August. Tracked an injured young buck in that pic . Very powerful little bitch .
  16. The red devil. Loved a night at the rabbits
  17. Like dodger says . He looks great . Absolutely nothing to worry about. He will be devouring the raw in the colder weather
  18. Get them on the short grass and you could get a few decent spins . But in general they're easy . Seen quite a few coursing dogs come up back in day and struggle badly. Couldn't adapt to the heather and haggs . Glad they're protected now . Keepers wipe them out in thousands
  19. When the hard frost comes i go ferreting . Not for the pot , but to replenish areas . Been doing it for 15 year . Myxi once and rhvd 4/5 times . But the virus blows through quickly now and doesn't seem to wipe 95% out the way it did . It's jmo that the varied blood strains I'm introducing is creating an old mongrel rabbit more capable of fighting back . But as bosun says , they don't seem to branch out . Imo , that's due to the insane amount of predators now . No lapwing nor curlews will attain to that . Be nice if folk would drop a few instead of always necking every one they catch
