I am interested but don't understand then you say she's vocal(shouts) at first then quietens down but then you say that she is silent and you haven't heard a sound a bit further on?
Rabbits or pheasant that is rotten and full of maggots seems to be what gets the foxes in the trap. Sometimes caught with a few bones and a manky hide where the rabbit carcus has rotted away. The only thing with fish baits and cat food is a higher number of cats caught, and it can effect the numbers of foxes caught.
I build mine out of 12-14gauge 1"x1" wire and crimp the sheets together. Overall it makes a 30" x30" sized trap with it being 14" tall. I get the crimps from moncaster wire and the springs I try to get have longer tails than average larsen springs, it just makes them easier to attach to the trap.
there is hardly a post/thread on here that doesn't have some kind of bitching or slagging off. I think the buy sell swap forum has turned into a viewing gallery for people with no interest in buying a dog and have a go at the seller! i realise that some boys are peddlars and should be highlighted as maggots that they are but it seems like even genuine posts are being trashed and turned into slanging matches!!!
i've seen a 1/8thwheaten 7/8ths whippet but she was game for the amount of terrier in it, 3/4whippet 1/4 wheaten is probably the x to have if first x's are to slow/heavy? i'm suprised this x hasn't taken of considering the popularity of beddy/whippets, wheaten x's would probably turn out ith a better jacket and mor game?
Is this pup from the wheatenx whippet greyhound litter of the same age from up north? Maybe that explains the vet paperwork saying whippet x?? Either way it looks a cracking bitch and would do someone proud if time and effort was spent on it, cheers
griffo
he might be a very nice guy but the article does read like ,i have the best dog, arri is sh#t hot even after injury blah blah........ i don't think you learn anything from the article and its just a free advert, if he is so knowledgable why doesn't he write about things to look for in dogs or suggest things to do not just go on about how good his dog is?! this isn't even about him its about the crap they publish week in week out
cmw is total shite and the fools writing in it know F all about proper lurcher and terrier work, its only use is to line the bottom of a bird cage,EDRD is a decent mag if you want something to read.
yeah i read edrd and know an article with crap like that wouldn't be entertained!
i just read this week's cmw and realised i've just spent 2quid to read an article that was the biggest blow of hot air up someones own a#se i have ever seen!!!! how does the cmw justify a halfpage spread on a guy who just goes on about how good his dog is and how he can only be likened to chippers nell! is this crap only impressing teenagers and the impressionable?! After something like the above is usually mentioned an offer like " come and see how good the dog is" or "what can your dog do?" but the point is why brag and call your dog a "potfillers dream" is it in some attempt to get a bett
this is jack ,heather is his auntie bred out of her brother tonk he is about 9 month ish old and 24 tts.
are the wheaton lines in your dog springview coz i believe quite a few of the dogs in this thread are related somewhere down the line,
cheers
yeah i think they're easier to train than a bull x as they pick up things quicker in my experience and have a better hunting instinct. i might be biased but think the wheaton x is more obedient but sometimes have problems with other dogs if not socialised from a very early age with other dogs.
bullx's are more powerful in the jaw and stronger generally but i prefer wheatons as allrounder's but thats just my personal preference and you speak as you find
nice lookimg bitch, had you shaved her coat in that pick?
cheeers
No, stripped with a blade
she is a smart bitch, did she have a double coat? mine has got some undercoat but not thick like some other wheaton x's i've seen,
cheers
