    It is a new barrel and that type of action can give issues with accuracy. You could consider shooting it with out the forend off just to see if there is an effect on the group size.

    Dont be afraid to compress the n120 if you think it is safe to keep going charge wise but the powder is up in the neck. Then again you may be completely satisfied with the load as is ofcourse.

    To be honest the photo of the live bird was an aggressive one that for a few visits would come across a field and start on me! I had some fun with him but he eventually disappeared somehow and no, not by me!

    Thanks for the good vibes fellers. Took a job today and start this week. TiG welding stainless pipe for generator units. Some mild steel pipe and brackets. Out of town, nice run. 20mins ?

    My daughter has anti body's so had it but never knew. I half suspect we had it last winter but not sure. I'm sure you'll be ok but its not nice and fearfull.

    I offered some to a food bank and they turned it down due to a lack of traceability. I wondered if somewhere with their own kitchen maybe more willing to accept.

    ....I have two interviews to attend tomorrow ?. The day started glum. Listening to folk going work this morning was a bit depressing but I couldn't stop in bed so hit the ground before light. Bitter cold I checked my suspended vixen from the other day and there was new tracks all around so I set the camera up by her. Next I went walking. Not much happening but thought I would check a spiney of oaks for an old cock bird that gets in there but keeps dodging me. As I got there with little hope a buzzard flew in low and just out of sight of me and in the same out of sight place ole cocky

    I settled on hornady 20gn after testing Winchester 20 and 17gn. Remington 17gn and hornady 17gn. The Winchester 20gn I really liked but I got a few misfires so they were out!

    Went squirreling today and ended up with a fox barking in thick cover not 50yds away! Never did see it but I hung around for hours watching a snow covered field with the occasional squeal. Just owls and hares as dark fell.

    I use to be against the wee round but am now very happy with it but my preference is the tougher constructed 20g. I do not recommend the 17g for anything bigger than hare. Yes they will do it but sooner or later you will get a shallow wound. I've had no split necks with current production ammo.
