    I see pigeons all day and at night when I close my eyes, dreaming of cool winter days in the roosting woods on a windy day. Of flight lines and birds over decoys. Sat in a shady hedge with bird song and a sleepy dog....I'm drifting off again.....

    These here hatistani jobs....a local feller has one in wood, it's a super magnum. Will it cycle ordinary shells? It may be handy for Charlie come the day I'm to old for a rifle!

    That surprises me, I used them on ducks years ago and they worked a treat.

    That was the time I ceased being a member! Zinc was better than steel but that got banned. Tin the same. The scientific tests involved force feeding ducks with shot so err yeah that'll do it! It's an insult to ducks! Don't these experts realise a ducks bill and tongue is a very sensitive tool! It can pick and choose what it feeds on. Experts again, thanks a lot you idiots. Fools.

    I might do more than you think ?. Steel is cheaper and so is my gun. To use posh tart ammo through this single would be perverse! Lol. To be honest though steel uses plastic wads and apart from our vegan friends and other eco warriors I don't like the fact I would be littering my beautiful countryside with it!

    Ok so that's pretty close to half choke by my calcs. The reamer is a friend's that he bought to open some chokes on a gun of his.

    Talking of tractors, I'm in my little welding bay welding Sumo front box's and counter weight things. The whole thing is roasting and so am I ! ?

    So my Aya single can shoot steel. It's choke is tight but won't the steel just pean it till it's happy?

    My farmers and the estate I go are ace. No phoning, no text, just turn up and go. It's the closest I can get to freedom.
