Had his mouth around a few on the lamp?... Dont see the promblem really? Yes the dogs too heavey he's a young saplin in the middle of summer the way they should be , And bigger heavey more rebost tyes like this anit going too looking like whip/gh types . I honestly bet Ray come stubble(When the grounds got some give) get him behind a few only really way too get these heaveir types fit and sharping him up iam more tha
  2. Sounds a nice mooch BUT fck that in this weather. Was out early and back in and settled for the raceing and was still hot this morning...!! He's certainly maturing into a fcken lump Ray. But think when he's lost summer/puppy fat he shape up that bit more than he is now as he's nothing but a lump lol maybe you could run him a bit lighter come stubble? Certainly hope he does the bussness for you this season matey
  3. Too be honest theres no excuse. YOU know when your dogs pull's up it anit a nice thing. Been too the bone man everythings alright, You know your doing your best food wise, putting plenty of miles getting fiiting, plenty of game in front of it and one day it turns off........ Your pretend you never seen it but CUT deep, try again everything seems alright but you dont dare push....... Come on who anit knew what theyve got/had...... Iv had a good few pull up on me when asked too dig a little bit deeper. TBH dont know how you can honestly keep them. The second they do that o
  4. You kidding the amount of shit LDR (Longdogrunner) went through with his......... I certainly wouldnt want too be the one at the head of head of it sorting it out.... BUT on paper sould happen every yr on thl but DONT see it happening proper again
  5. Well iam pretty much the samne as a lot of lads. In the summer i like mine too get a bit fat and rest/recover say it as you will. They'll get a couple of hours mooching but nothing too much too be honest, Then in Sort of Aug sort of time i get the bike out and start putting a few miles in to them maybe 5/6 mile every other day decent pace do that for a month or so too tighten/harden up and get a decent baseline fittness and then ready for a few runs come stubble (When the weather and grounds gotta bit of give). And too be honest throw the winter they just get worked hardly ever just walked
  6. Iv used the car and bike also too clock up a few miles (Prefere the bike as like you said finding a decent bit of tar mac anit that easy really)
  7. No FL........ ANY working dogs, But just trying too keep it running be it courseing/lamping/mooching anything really. Just thought it would be a good un too run side Vins diet one (Would be nice too hear tho how the top courseing fellahs get theres in tip top. But you tend too get nothing from them as its all one big secret or you get just run them twice aweek thats enough too keep them tight?)
  8. After i read Vin's diet thread. Thought in conjuntion with diet theres the condtioning and fitteness training also thats just as important. So whats everyones thoughts on this. What do you do
  9. Each too there own. And if its working for you and your getting the results well your doing somethng right. Mine just on a mixed diet. Fresh meat bones eggs fresh fish and tinned fish bit of veg bit of pasta or rice and and i also use a dry feed aswell maybe once twice a wk. The thing is it all depends on what thier doing, Most of the time in the winter i tailer there meals too what there doing and work load or if they dip slightly in condtion than certain things can be add or taken away if they get a bit rounded. Think most will have too have a play about with there di
  10. Cheap knock about that you cant lose on........
  11. Like that big white dog pup thats left Rain. He look's a big straping pup you keeping theses 3 ?
  12. Before i even read your reply there NL i thought excatly the same after i watched the vid .Good little race that but old sally hopefully made her exit?.
  13. Think it all depends on the dog and what time of yr it is when the pup is around the 10/12 month old mark for the lamp. Like mine too have their mouth round a few first hopefully with a bit of ferreting mooching or what ever, Cause alot of bad habits can be picked up and in grained in them at a younger age. Plus young green keen pups and hard baked ground dont mix you can fck them before theyve even started
  14. Dont waste a decent thread fellah's......... This is a good un too be pulled
  15. Always a dog i liked also..... Best of luck with him(But some how i'll doubt you'll need it)
  16. cheers mate I'm sure we will have a day out soon enough and have a catch up with pup. Iam sure we will fellah.......
  17. The fellah said today that it was only the brindle thats left? Dont know why but a lot wont entertain a brindle dog Best of luck with them fellah
  18. Seen the black pup today after it got dropped off....... Credit where credits he's a little stunner full of beans real confident and a picture of health certainly done well by them. (And the pic's dont do them any justice)
  19. ''Lucky'' you mean Joe not Looking ffs lol... Great sale speech this one fellah.. And i dont blame you from not letting anyone round your house i dont like that myself. Few pic's might help with the sale Sire and Dam and a few of the remaining pup's BPR i know what your saying fellah. But i can tell within 30 sec's on the phone too someone if theyve half a clue or even if i want that person round me
  20. Before anything make sure your drainage is 100%. The right drainage done right makes all the diffrence And just build from there. Honestly build EVERYTHING with cleaning in mind make sure its the easyest you can have it. Beds/runs ect makes for easy living
  21. Like you say Ray. You know he's alright bu they dont and he is a fcking lump of a thing. I wouldnt like the thought of any dog jumping up at any my daughters while they walked there dog trying too play or not. And for this reason i hate bumping into people while out iam lucky and live right at the very edge of the village so only have too walk past a few house and iam in the feilds off the beaten track where i try not too bump in to any fcker. Keep him on lead mate saves all the bullshit that could happen
