  2. Yip thats all i do it keeps a good baseline of fittness , I always try to get them doing at least 5/6 mile's a day , Which is easy and only takes 35/40 mins, Plus i think it keep them sharp and jumping a treat over every gate fence you come too, But likes been said take it easy at first, Edited to say more or less all the running i do beside the bike is free running, They just run beside me or up infront....
  3. Proper men can tell at a day old, Unlike some a Jo.. But if you cant tell at a young age just wait till there up abit its a lot easyer then, More of a round head normally means hen And a more triangle normally means cock's So they say anyway.... Gets some pictures up if you got any

  10. You'd want a collie for working the farm all day, But if i was you i would get two i get the dog for the farm, And one for lamping cause the dogs that working the farm alday would be knacked and be wanting to sleep to for tommorow next shift (which is only fair), If a collie or bull was any real use on the lamp there wouldnt be no need for the lurcher would there.....

And to answer you qustions id say no not even on a remote reguarl basis not saying it anit been done but they wont have the top end speed it takes to bend and keep pressure on a good day time Roe on meduim size feilds (different animals in the day) Imho, Beddy/Whip is not the type your after if your after flushing roe through the day......

  19. Well 90% of the time i use starw, All i do is get a single bed quilt covers and put the straw in that it keeps the mess next to nothing, Tie a knot n it when you have filled it abit and then when you emptying it its easy to turn insde out job done... In the summer months i tend just to use a few layers of carpet then discard when the when it gets colder
