    It really depends on what you are looking for out the pups ie Quarry and land you hunt, If it were me and to suit my type of hunting then id be looking for another typey BeddyX maybe a touch of Collie/Deerhound in the mix,

    Iv got a Poachers Pocket bred bitch here Beddy/Gh/Whip X Beddy/Gh/Whip she stand around the 24'' mark and is a smooth bitch, Decent enough bitch still young (18month) But she is a out and out little catch bitch with a good slip to catch ratio, Been tryed on things that bite back (doubled up with another) and got stuck right in, So she is doing alright for her age, dont wanna push it to hard to young but ya if she keeps it up she will defo be classed a good bitch, Iv heard hes starting too add a bit of deerhound into the mix dont know how true this is just what iv heard throught the

    Yes it will affected it if you keep running a unfit and an over weight, Because you'll lend up inprint in its head,, Its yapping cause its proberly frustrated that it cant come to terms with the rabbits, Dont let it see another till you have the weight off and clocked up some miles on the bike with it,, Then try it again on so real easy runs sitter ect get as close to the rabbit as you can.. Then you'll see if you have a yapper..!! Also make sure theres no underlieing injurys that will make a dog yap as its twisting and turning after his rabbit.. Atb With It T 7

    See your change your tune aswell, Iam not saying feed your pet dog a diet of 60% fat 30% protein and 10% veg and thats great what iam saying is, You as the dog owner what ever your game is be it coursing, ferrtering, lamping you have to feed a dog the diet that suits you and the dog, What iam saying is what every you feed the BEST form of energy is FAT..

    Feed a house dog fat for a few year and the vet will love you You know what i mean any working dog.. Be it coursing,Ferreting or sled pulling herding.. Ill still stand by the fact the fat is the best form of energy, Im not saying carbs cant give energy after the body has converted them into one thing and then the body can absorb that bla bla..     I think the man is full of sh-it the man dont even work his dogs, And charges £250/350 for a pup ya right..! Nothing more than a peddler in my eyes... Dont belevie half what you hear phone the man and see..!! There by far more decent dog lads out there with tryed and tested parents that you could get a pup off rather than keep funding peddlers simple but hey each to there own..!!

    Feed a house dog fat for a few year and the vet will love you And you know what i mean every dog will need diffrent levels of fat in there diet to match there work load.. Why would you give a house dog the same diet as a working one..??

    Unlike humans fella, Dogs get there energy from fat and not carbs.. There a few members on here that know the fancey ins and outs of it all, And fancey words so ill leave it too them to do the full run down on it, But each to there own and all that..

    Dogs dont get there energy from Carb's, They get there energy from Fats Me ad rather be getting more raw food into it than pasta, And small and othen 4/6 times a day, Plus if your going to use mixer/complete feed at diffrent times than the raw as it digests at diffrent times in the stomach eg feed raw in the morning and dry at night or the other way round, And good regualar worming with a decent wormer and you wont have a problems..
