i have 2 dogs.....one is 7 y/o (mostly grey/whip wi a bit of saluki in him) the other is a young upstart who is nearly 1 y/o(collie/grey/whipXbeddie/whip)...the older dog has always been the dominant one, they've always enjoyed rolling around play fighting wi each other but lately its becoming a lot more serious...i know the young dog is now trying to get the upper hand but its resulting in some fairly serious fights between the dogs...i know ye should let them sort out a "pecking" order but av had to step in a few times now to stop either dog gettin really hurt.....its not all the time but it

just a thought.....i bred a litter of 3/4 greyX beddie just over 4 years ago....all are doin well an take a variety of quarry....my question is why dont you see more of this cross about ? see plenty of the whippet crosses but not many greyhound ones...from what i've personally witnessed this cross has everything the whip cross has an has the added bonus of overall size an strength advantage..i'm in no way running down the whip crosses .....just wondered what peoples thoughts on this were.....atb..chris..

got a young dog (9 months) myself which has beddie in it..... his dam was collie/whip/grey an his sire was straight beddie/whip......for some reason i like the beddie blooded dogs...they seem to fit in with not only my hunting but my general way of life..........atb..chris.. If my beddy/whippet pup (8 1/2 months) makes a good rabbit dog ( but only if it is 100% worker), in a few years time the collie/whippet/greyhound type is what i would probably look at putting over my bitch. My pup is bred worker to worker and it has
