    Its a pleasant change on here to read some honesty and wisdom of the experience's of running dogs on different terrains. The breed blind spew that seems to dominate these pages gets boring very quick.

    What are the preferred lamps now, I still use the halogen dimmer types. Last time I looked even the bulbs where getting hard to get hold of.

    My heart goes out to the families with injured or worse. The outlook for these islands is not good I dread to think what they are going to be like in a few decades! I dont/carnt watch or listen to MSM it just makes me angry and I start to rant basically puts me in a frame of mind which I dont like to be in! THL is a better source of honest straight up news than the main stream media!

    I always just bring the bitch off gradually over a week or so giving her plenty exercise and have never needed to get rid of any excess milk it just goes naturally.

    TBH I have been guilty of being dead against adding pure grey blood in the past. I had this greyhound bitch on the yard for about 6 month before I decided to use her, she was exercised like a lurcher doing up to five mile behind the quad a few times a week, in the back of the 4x4 for nights out allowing her to get a mouthful of stuff. She settled and turned sensible after a few knocks, very obedient and a pleasure to have around. Her pups turned out fine apart from being a bit lighter boned than I am used to.

    The truth is they were a touch more racey and thats it. They will be back to type with this litter with the added advantage of a pure outcross.
