  1. I learned TTF, but I switched to OTT as I personally find it more accurate. But I can shoot both
  2. But you didn't get triple the amount of chips again did ya , there always stingy on chips when you eat out lol
  3. I went years ago for a week's piss up. Seen the usual bits of culture, really enjoyed it. One thing I will say is I went in January and I've never been anywere so cold. No wonder they all wear ear muffs lol.
  4. I used to see Dave at the various shows years ago and always have a chat, and I watched his dog Katie work up in Scotland at blairgowrie. A nice fella.
  5. Cheers for sharing that, just watched ten minutes and looks good, will watch them all later when I have time. Thanks Terry
  6. At first I did look at the cheaper ones, but decided on this after research
  7. Mines the pulsar axion 2 xq35, was about a grand and half. Seems a good bit of kit, I've been spotting magies roosting in trees from a good distance. Seen roe in cover with it, bunnies hopping about in front of me, at night these tho. But I did see a hare squatting in the daytime at a fair old distance. And pics up squirrels easy in daytime. Am happy with it. I wish I'd of ad one years ago to be honest
  8. I bought one for mooching and same thing as you. It's been handy for the cattys and in general I have enjoyed just genuinely watching wildlife through it. They are a complete game changer. Would of been handy back in the day for keeping your eye out for two legged vermin trying to catch you .

Deathwish was my favourite or Mr Magestic
  10. I got one off Etsy for a fiver, probably get them on fleabay for the same. Or buy some cheap magnets off Amazon and make your own.
  11. Nice pics of the humming birds, sometimes it's just nice to sit back and take in and appreciate what's around you.
  12. My thoughts exactly, my next dog probably a spaniel x terrier type I would ideally like. My old dog here is 27inch and be my last big dog I think.
  13. I bet Fred would have fitted one in the wall lol
  14. MC you going down the fixed bed route ?
  15. Nice shooting , I got some of them wasp red sights myself and really rated them
  16. Looks about as appetizing as a over the hill old brasses wet battered flange if am honest
  17. I must admit all my old photo albums are worth more than gold to me, all my old dogs and memories and close friends who have passed away, all those memories. I could never ever part with mine. As a child my grandfather was a taxidermist and I used to see all the dogs lads prized catches stuffed and I was mesmerized by the tales of poaching and from a young age I was hooked to dogs and hopping the hedge.
  18. Been lark hawking myself down south on an air base, as you say breath taking watching the skylarks and Merlins ringing up and then the stoop. Was awsome
  19. Yep I agree , back in the day when we used go up Gretna for long ears or Johnson Bridge ect looking for larger prey or Dumfrieshire for bunnies. Them border cops were always right barstewards in even back in the 90,s. What I shame for Scotland, I first went up at 19 with a lurcher and was blown away with the scenery the amount of gear to run and instantly fell in love with the place. A true hunters paradise, such a shame that this in force.
  20. I've got the smaller version the mini mo I think it is, never done any proper cooking on it just heat things through or boil in bag. But I've allways been happy with mine.
  21. No mate, but it's fine for what I want. There is loads of low roof camper conversions , a lot of the VW day vanscare that are not pop top
  22. Just in the process of doing one up myself, I bought one part converted ish, but gonna rip it all out and start again and add windows roof vent and get rid of double bed as it will just be for me and the dog for a little weekends mooching here and there. Probably won't stay on campsites much , just ruff it hear and there. It's only a swb low roof, but be big enough for me and the dog.
  23. 3/4 collie grey only made 23 half inches , had rabbit hare fox roe. Was out 24/7 back then. Some proper fond memories.
  24. Going back 20yrs a fella bred a litter of 1st cross acdxgrey x 1st cross acdxgrey. I initially put my name against a dog pup. However I had to pull out as I was living with this nutty bird at the time and it went pear shaped so I wasn't able to take the pup on and do it justice. Fast forward over 12 months later I happen to see a few of the litter and was glad I didn't take the pup on as 1st x over 1st cross had thrown a little bit to heavy and squat for what I wanted and wad doing at the time as an allrounder. But I did often ponder on what acd blood was like.
