  1. The photon is fine with a T20 on top , I use two the 6,5 & the 4,6 I found the 6,5 with the bigger objective a big advantage , swapping between a ,22 and 22,250 . You can get problems zeroing the ,22 unless you use the correct mounts as you run out of elevation I shimmed the rear mount with no loss of zero removing the unit and refitting ( keep the mounts on the photon and remove as a unit ) use them in the day time as well . The 4,6 is swapped around a pcp the same , there are two for sale on the forum . ATB
  2. Good job done there , I use the 55grn in a 22.250 with very good results , you can be confident out to as far as you like with good load development . ATB
  3. Are you shooting inland or on a firth ?
  4. Anybody tried the new smocks it looks like the Swazi kaguille (sp) I tried the swazi at a stalking fair and like the big front pocket which the ridgeline has and it doesn't look like the river of sweat lining either any opinions .
  5. Nice usable recticle there , I like a 1/2" kill zone my self and a long flat trajectory , the range distance you have will get you zeroed started then confirm your second distance when your out . With Chairgun you can tailor your zero to your requirements . ATB
  6. Hi there There is a lot of good advice given here , but by your question no disrespect ment you should start target shooting first at a club range or tin cans on your permission to get the feel of things and see how different ranges alter how you hit the target . The humane kill zone your aiming for is very small for a air rifle so get it wrong and you live with the concequences and the end of life for your quarry. Buy a cheap range finder first to get you started and place your tins out and range them this will give you a true measurement and then mil them to see how different mags affect
  7. Have a look over on the stalking directory , somebody will sort you for a outing in your area .
  8. Hi there If you were to join a club you would get to learn about your rifle and how it performs , meet like minded folk and get to see what to wear when your out . Cheers
