I've always keeped noisy bushing dogs. But as you say each to there own. My mate keeps a full spaniel because he does a lot of ducking and diving and mine would get him captured lol.

The ones I seen where teckel x Beagle. They were good hunters. As I say there properly not all bad mate.

They couldn't handle rough terrain to well. And we're lazy hunters. Waiting for other dogs to find and then joining in. I've seen a few good cross breeds though.
