    Up with keepers today .and having a clean up for farmer as he lambs shortly . First spot produced 3 foxes .Little dogs hunted very well .keeping to one fox true as a dye .it was shot but managed to get back to wood .dogs found him stone dead. Second spot was a rock pile crag with bit of Heather on crags .fox was away before dogs really got on him .missed by 2 guns and away to live another day . After dinner checked a few earths and Brian found a big dog fox .couple minutes he was out n shot ,Brian done well again . But he was feeling the day now .sadly all dogs get old

    First blank day in a while. Dogs and I covered some ground .they had a couple of hunts on long ears over marsh ground .but no signs of old Charlie boy .Nice and fresh out there today .does u a world of good .

    Sure is mate .had a few call outs now aswell.few farmers have started lambing early .so I,ll be out ???

    Its a real good spot mate been going there 25 years now .had some great days on there .use to hold hundreds of rabbits .

    Had my daily exercise out on my mates farm .2 dogs worked the full gorse patch .at least 3 foxes in .Nice sunny day .lovely to watch dogs wo3k and see old Charlie boy try out fox the dogs .excellent vantage point to just sit and watch .

    Covid 19 has broken the gang for a bit so I was out on my Todd today, dogs hunted a good Charlie for quit a while before he broke and he made it to the rock pile.. lost a good terrier in there long time ago and never had a dog in since .

    Haa ,was some animal .I got him off c.s when he was about 9 or 10 months old.put plenty of time in with the young dog and he made the grade I was looking for.was a out n out fox dog. Was exceptional off back of a van .

    Good walk put today ,put 5 out .accounted for 1 had some real good hunts ,high up the fells .
