    These 2 dogs are with out a doubt the best 2 dogs I’ve had the privilege to hunt along side .they can find old Charlie boy anyway in any cover , and there has been a good few different lads , some off here that have seen them go , anyway age is always a problem , although they hopefully have plenty of years left , they will be hard to replace , my plans for the future are daughter out of Brian n beagle x cocker I will put the black n tan dog over her , any other lads got a breeding programme ??

    Good day out today , boris the blade came up for a day out , poor lad wasn’t use to all the hills ,lol put 3 foxes out and had some good hunts , all foxes made good there escape ,

    To be honest mate in that spot theynearly always get away , it goes from one patch to another then to a big wood , fella with gun today could have shot one , but it wasn’t a safe shot , there for another day mate ??

    3 out today on a glorious day , all got away . Excellent learning curve for the youngsters .

    Quick walk out after work , Brian n his daughter had a great hunt on old Charlie boy .

    Good day mate ,,, apart from the sensitive terrier ????

    Day started off wet , nothing in first few spots and was ready to throw towel in . But decided to do a shore line full of whinny patches etc , wind was howling off the sea and I didn’t have much hope . But then we were on. Full cry off young and old dogs . Fox was cleanly shot at far end . Next spot was a small patch well off the beaten track and well out of the way . Big dog fox out and shot crossing a river . great day out ??

    Once had a terrier snagged up an some tree roots by his collar , he took some finding , after that never let a bushing dog where a. Collar , but sometimes I have to run 1 or 2 terriers with Bellman collars on .

    Worse when one drops to ground in the middle of gorse patches , trying to batter your way through them , wax jackets are the best for the that game

    Out first thing this morning on my own , absulotly soaked to skin , checked a few spots all empty , don’t know till ya go !!

    Gorse patches are nick named Jesus Christ bushes up here , cause whenever anyone going through them hunting that’s all you hear them shout !!??

    Had 2 days with keepers , terriers only, some very hard going , rough ground etc ,couple of tough foxes accounted for !! Ended up with 4 .head keeper was over moon , gave my youngest son full permission to fish his own private pond in summer ,
