  3. Say hello fifeman, I'll be the fat c*nt with crutches! Stevie
  4. Sorry I took so long....... Postcode for Neilston is G78 for those who asked. Qualifiers include Scottish champ of champs, Cock o'north and many others. Stevie
  5. Was nice to be back in the thick of it again, good to see all the lads again. Turnout of terriers could've been better but the friendly atmosphere more than made up for it. Wel done lads (and Emma!). Stevie
  6. No news yet on qualifiers, I'll know by tonight. Neilston is next to Barrhead, I'll get a postcode up soon. The show is part of an agricultural fair so follow the traffic when you get there, it's not a big place. Stevie
  7. Kinda similar to mine too!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice dog. Stevie
  8. I'd rather run a pup through an empty earth or some old rabbit holes, but it doesn't do any harm IMO. Stevie
  9. Good show this, I haven't been for a couple of years, should manage down on Sunday. Stevie
  10. Not sure Wazza, I'll try to find out over the weekend. Stevie
  11. To be held at Neilston Agricultural showground. Entries from 11.00am, show starts 1.00pm prompt. Could any trophy holders please return them on the day or contact Jock Tait to arrange return on 0141-881-7077. Stevie
  12. Think you might mean Terrence McLaughlin. Don't have contact details though.
  13. I'm not sure about the physics but I'd say a broad skull and well muscled cheeks would transfer more power to a small rather than large muzzle. However, I've seen some terriers with crap heads that had very destructive, damaging bites, so i think commitment to the bite is as important as anything else. I prefer mine to use their brains and their voice. Stevie
  14. Bitch might not be ready or may need some "help" to be lined. Stevie
  15. THATS A LOT OF MONEY FOR A JACK INIT [bANNED TEXT] ? Why is it a lot of money? Is a lot for a pat, or a lakie or better still a border?? You'll pay £400 for a feckin Labradoodle!! Good luck with you pups mate.
  16. Seen this happen then a change of kennel and before you know it they're working away. Sometimes you just don't gel with a dog. Stevie
  17. Missed delivery!!! Will pick it up tomorrow at post office, looking forward to it. Stevie
  18. In my experience if a terrier is getting enough foxes, he won't lie with a rabbit. However I can recall a couple of good game dogs lying with rabbits in the past. If we're talking about youngsters, just discourage them, they'll come round. No I wouldn't be pleased about it but I certainly wouldn't put them to sleep. I must add, I've never heard of anyone adding bull to make a terrier a bolter!!! Stevie
  19. is that wee dog a nutter Allright mate, he's not a nutcase but his sire was!!! Stevie
  20. Nice type of terrier there Claude, what 'd call a typical fell type. Hope he does you proud. Stevie
  21. Sound advice Kisko, I've been coming to the same conclusion over the past week, you get a lot of car with the Jeep, only thing is they're a wee bit dearer in Scotland, much more to choose from further south. I should get a '56 if I look hard enough up here. My ultimate choice would have been the Rangey but I've spoken to so many lads who've had them and all have said don't do it. Stevie
  22. Already have another "clean" car which the wife uses, decided to treat myself mate. As for risk of confiscation, I've no idea what you mean Stevie
  23. Thanks lads.... some good input there. Stevie
  24. I'm home wednesday, so I'll be doing the rounds of the dealers in Glasgow over Thursday & Friday, see if I can get a bargain. Toyota & Nissan have the edge if it's a pick up, quite fancy a Jeep, maybe a Pathfinder or a Landcruiser.........! Feck knows!!! Stevie
