  1. With other people putting pic's up of there pup's and commenting how quickly time goes by, had me looking back at earlier photo's of my half cross Maggie. It don't seem 5 min's that i brought her home.....aged 7 week's. And before you know it.....she's a shade over 23inch and 6 month's old... I do most of the training (retrieving,sit/stay's,jumping,etc) with her down the field's close to home because usually on the back lawn she just want's to piss about...but i think she's finally coming around to my way of thinking. Carrying back past her favourite digging patch....LOL

  6. Has the heading say's my first cross collie greyhound is now 5 month's old and i thought i would take a few pic's this afternoon to let people know of her progress. At the minute i think she's about 21 1/2 to the shoulder and with a fair bit of knuckle still to grow out. I went a quick mooch earlier around some field's locally and took a dummy with me. After walking out some 60/70 yard's into longish pasture, dropped the dummy and then walked back with the pup before sending her back for it... The out - run....LOL I'm pleased with the way she's coming on with these types of
  7. Went and had a couple of hour's ratting with Lamper and the old man of the wood's this morning. Checked the barn first that contain's a grain hopper and wasn't long before the old man was investigating it. the old man on his way up.... On his arrival at the summit of the ladder he send's down the information to me and Lamp's that there is a scaley tail there, so i said to him here ya go get a pic of it and passes him the camera up... After he's taken the pic he turn's round and shout's down keep your eye's peeled cause it gonna make a run for it. When he turn's back to fa

  12. Had the pup out earlier with the old bitch mooching thru a wood, when the old girl pick's up a rabbit from out of some thick stuff and the pup help's her carry it back to hand. This is the first time the pup has had a feel of live game, and to say she was excited and pleased with herself is an understatement, but i quickly despatched it and lay it on the floor while praising the pup up. At just over 4 month's of age she's had her first taste of what it's all about.... At the end of the day it's only a rabbit but she thought she was top dog for just a while...LOL

Got to get the right mount and frame for it now to do the painting credit... Once again many thank's Mrs Borderer...
