Where did anyone ever say anything was going to run out? It’s retarded. There’s actually over supply of lots of things. It just goes to show how sheep like people have become. It’s really really sad.

Daft b*****ds are stashing it, freezing it and even worse, chucking it out! Total madness, they have to have doormen on ships here to stop folk stripping the shelves and taking massive trollys rammed full of stuff. I dislike people at the best of times but this is really making me struggle lol

Thing is there is no shortage of food at all....... take eggs as another example - a human influenza virus hasn’t made one iota of difference to how many eggs are available to the domestic market - in fact if reckon there would be more available when you consider the amount used in hotels etc which are now not using them! Same with meat - I’ve just as many lambs in my fields as I did pre virus..... etc etc etc

That’s basically the issue that we are trying to avoid - most folk who get it will be fine, but a bunch won’t. If we all get it at same time we overload our limited ICU units and more people die than need to. My earlier comments around dumb folk was mainly about the people saying ‘it’s just a flu, get over it, go to work, go down the pub, f**k em’ - an opinion based upon diddly squat.

This is it - takeout bakery products as an example. There are enough raw materials, enough staff and enough of a logistics chain to keep plenty of bread on the shelves, corona virus doesn’t effect the supply of bread at all. But if folk start buying ten loaves in a shop instead of two, then shock horror, there isn’t enough bread to go around. People are basically thick, and weird.

One of the biggest shames is it is targeting old folk or those with underlying health conditions - imagine if it targeted people based upon mental capacity .......... wouldn’t be such a bad thing then, would it. I dislike people at the best of times, watching people react to this - half of them deserve to f***ing be wiped out! stock piling bread and toilet paper - what kind of morons are they?

Must be mate. Even the one on this thread is a white, British woman. Let’s face it, we are the majority, and so therefore we will be the greatest % of morons. When will people accept that most of these things are a people thing, not an ‘ethnic’ thing!

This is the issue. There is plenty of everything to go around if people followed normal shopping patterns - the only reason things are running out is the panic buying and stock piling, which in turn just makes people do it more. People are really horrendous creatures!

How come any thread on anything at all, is always an excuse for the xenophobes to wheel out their soap box. Pretty much every single knob head ive seen battering folk over toilet roll, stealing sanitizer or acting like an idiot, is white, British, and about as culturally so as you could wish for.

Probably true, but if everyone in the U.K contracted it, 1% death rate would be something like 665,000 folk. Mental. Probably not going to happen, but equally could. Why would it be such a mental idea? More likely than a meteor destroying us all, and thats an actual possibility lol.

I think realistically a lock down like they have in Italy is fairly likely. Could end up a couple months with no work, no public gathering etc. Pretty mental stuff really. I have plenty of meat, weapons, water, booze and smokes.

Very odd down here mate, like a ghost town, no one around and even small shops, garages etc have either shut or been ransacked. Have stocked up on the essentials. . . . . including ammunition.

Lots of companies going under. Know someone who runs events company - they are f****d, half staff been laid off, lost millions already. Lass I know world in recruitment - their firm is going under as they can't make money if they can't place folk in jobs etc etc.

Its not good. Im not usually one for this kind of drama. But the stats speak for themselves, its infecting people rapidly and killing a fair % of those that it infects (relatively speaking). And economically its going to f**k the place.
